how does the color for the dash kit match up with the rest of the interior?

Perfect as far as I can tell. The dash kit is "black" but has that same shimmery effect as the black plastic around the AC knobs.

Put together my 80/20 roof rack (total cost under $400) and wired my light bar. Probably going to cut down the crossbars to sit flush with the rails.

Took it to Toyota for its 15k service. So today i did the 15k service.

Not sure what the impact gun is for as there is nothing you should be using that on. As for service, I have never gone to the dealer for service, not even the free service. Clueless idiots will never touch my vehicle unless I have absolutely no choice. Do it yourself, chances are you'll do a better job.

Impact is to pull the wheels. I take it in to have them check the box. All they did was "check the battery" I do all my own work. Even pull the skid plates down before bringing it in.

I don't use a gun on anything besides disassembly of old rusty suspension systems. Wheels are removed by hand, reinstalled by hand, torqued to 84 foot pounds as per FN Wheels for my aftermarket wheels. No risk of damage to anything at all that way including the paint on the wheels if that socket gets away from you.

Dustin told me 83 with the FX Pro wheels. My wrench goes from 82-84 so I go 84 Have been doing that for the last 17K miles, 4 sets of tires (I get bored easily) and I've never had any issues.

You and I are doing more than most people ever do by torqueing them at all lol. Most people just lean into the lug wrench and get them as tight as they can. Personally I torque everything I can get a torque wrench on. Things like top hat bolts where a torque wrench won't fit, I snug good by hand and throw a dab of blue Loctite on. I'll also mark them with a paint pen and check them regularly so I can see if anything has moved.

Thanks! Yes to the wiring kit - I sourced most of the parts from crutchfield - even if you don't buy parts from them, they have great installation guides and wiring diagrams. Some parts of the wiring kit were simply plug and play, but, I still had to wire the speaker wire leads by hand - no real splicing, just crimping. I was able to retain the factory back-up camera, steering wheel controls, gps/shark-fin antenna, USB/AUX port, etc...The tedious part was removing the AC vents and hazard light button and transferring them to the new dash kit; Lots of tiny screws and sketchy plastic tabs. I will never get over the sounds of dash board clips un-clipping...it always sounds terrible. I did pretty good though and did not break a single dash clip. The metra dash kit also needed some cutting and prep work to make everything line up flush.

You go guy, I do use a torque wrench to put them back on. Where the socket gonna go?
