Rago shelf and Raingler attic

Both work and solid products as far as quality of materials and build as well as design but....

Raingler: had to take interior B and C pillar plastic off and drill 8 holes. HUGE pain in the ass.... about 2hrs of your life.

Rago: Almost wish I didn’t do it. The hardware provided (50 bolts and thin nylock nuts) were complete garbage. Chinese junk. Never in 45yrs of wrenching have I seen this. Can’t get them all the way tight then can’t back them off. Had to use a grinder on 4 of them. Then drive 30mi in traffic to spend another $20 on good hardware at a fastener store. Hardware sent felt like mixed up metric and standard and wrong pitch threads. Thanks Rago. Total of 7hrs of cussing not including store run. Buy at your own risk.

Drowned my baby

Tore out the interior and changed diff fluids because she got stuck in water which ended up coming in halfway up the shifter... I also have a few electrical bugs to work out. Does everyone feel this dumb after almost drowning their baby?

just got these Infinity Reference speakers from the Crutchfield BLK Fri sale. Upgrading the Front dash w/3.5 and front doors w/6x9. Will install shortly.

I'm done with Rago, their customer service has gone to complete sh*t and they treat repeat customers like they don't matter whatsoever, plus the chinese hardware is also a joke. Such a shame, I was a huge supporter of theirs, but I'm removing all Rago products from my vehicle

Got my new Bilstein 5100 installed with the front set to to 1.75” and some daystar 1.5” rear spacers. I had 3/4 shocks leaking which made a miserable ride but much much better now!

What size and brand tire are you running in this picture? Really like the look, thinking of doing the same set up on my 2011 SR5, wanting to stay with stock tire size.

Rec'd and installed a replacement HID bulb from Xenon Depot. Only one band-aid needed (battery side of course).

Also ordered a Sprint Booster from Jason B, can't wait to get that installed. Kind of a spendy mod but seems everyone raves about it.

Compressor mount - DIY

Mounted my compressor in the engine compartment. super simple. cut a piece of aluminum, bent it, drilled it. I utilized the nuts (#8 x 1.25 x 20mm) mounted on the driver side of the engine bay. After driving for a while (road testing), I will hard wire the switch inside the cabin.

I'm new to off roading in a full-size vehicle, so I was hoping this wouldn't be too technical.
It wasn't. But that's good. Christmas Tree Pass, just west of Laughlin, NV.
Could have done it in our Dodge Magnum. It was about as technical as the roads in our town. With the washes, I think our roads are more challenging.
But, I had the chance to try 4H, 4L, A track, & Hill Decend, without actually needing them.
We hiked a bit and saw the ancient petroglyphs (graffiti?). Those were pretty cool.
A fun stress-free, if not a little boring/disappointing.
I'll try harder next time.

UPDATE: Got the front doors done today, wow, what a difference already. Can't wait till I do the dash speakers tomorrow. The OEM door speakers have no magnet, just paper, at first I thought I broke it off in 2 but no, that's all there is to it. The metro adapters and wire harness adapters from CF made it a breeze. No issues till the door panel re-install, that was tough on the 1st door as I figured out the top window sill felt piece. What a bytch that was. Don't be a fool like me and struggle to try and get it in there all as 1 piece, but... I remembered reading a post a while back that the felt trim piece comes off with 3 clips. Yup, just pop it off, attach it to window/ door frame top edge and then pop the door panel on. 2nd door was less than 15 minutes.

Got a smoking deal on a used Wilco Solo High Clearance. Seriously couldn’t pass it up. I have pushed in to the second hole. I cranked on the anti wobble bolt and also added a threaded/ locking hitch pin to further stop any wobble. I will be adding a rotopax fuel tank and hilift to it as well. Went out to Blair Valley and Vallecito wash in the Anza Borrego desert to give a wobble test. Not a sound or movement to be seen or heard.
