What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

UPDATE: Got the front doors done today, wow, what a difference already. Can't wait till I do the dash speakers tomorrow. The OEM door speakers have no magnet, just paper, at first I thought I broke it off in 2 but no, that's all there is to it. The metro adapters and wire harness adapters from CF made it a breeze. No issues till the door panel re-install, that was tough on the 1st door as I figured out the top window sill felt piece. What a bytch that was. Don't be a fool like me and struggle to try and get it in there all as 1 piece, but... I remembered reading a post a while back that the felt trim piece comes off with 3 clips. Yup, just pop it off, attach it to window/ door frame top edge and then pop the door panel on. 2nd door was less than 15 minutes.

OEM speakers have neodymium magnets. Much stronger than ferrite magnets that's why they are so small. Magnet size means nothing these days, not like it did 20 years ago. Just a side note for you, the plugs you got do not work in the dash. You will have to reuse the OEM plugs and solder the wiring together. That is unless Metra came out with a dash plug since the last time I checked. Completely different plug than what's used in the doors.

Thx for the info, I'm stealing your install tips from another thread. Been practicing up on my soldering skills. Same metra harness but I can use it for the wires and other end fittings and cut off the oem white connector and then solder the blocker on the pos side and then to the oem blue connector. Hoping to follow your example. Its been about 20yrs since I touched audio. Sounds easy in my mind..Maybe tomorrow, will see.

I have most of my parts together so today I was test fitting some things. This tire and wheel combo going to be sweet on this build.

Also got my rear links back from powder coat. Had them do it in clear so I can have the colors from the welds stay.

I’ll be installing the custom valves extended Kings soon as well as some billet upper a arms. I’m going to to need to cycle the rear end with the new links to figure out the track bar setup.

I’ll start a build thread for this soon.

Got the ditch lights wired up and aimed. With the amber driving lights and ditch lights, should be ready for winter driving, if we ever get snow.

We got really bad fog a couple of weeks ago, so I ordered the amber H11 bulbs.

No fog since, lol.

update - got the front dash completed. Not as bad as I thought for the install. Sounds great. Sadly the Infinity Ref hot BF sale is gone already on Crutchfield, was thinking of also doing rear doors and hatch.

Went to the car wash and sprayed on some soap and rinsed it off .Put on a coat of Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic 3-in-1 Detailer, and some tire shine. It had a coat of Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Polish & Wax put on a few weeks ago and a coat of Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating 24 hours later.

Learned LDA is not lane departure assist.
On my old truck lane departure would correct steering if you were about to go out of your lane. Just picked up a 20 and decided to see how it worked on the highway.
Lol, it's not assist.. It's ALERT! It for sure alerted me I was going outta my lane and here I am waiting for it to steer itself.. nope, just sits there and laughs at you when you drive off the road! I did get back in lane before anything happened, just glad I learned while testing

Wheels and tires! Technically just got rid of the 20” wheels and dropped to stock 17” sizing, nothing crazy. But less mall crawler now!

I'm not sure what I did in my 5th gen today. Help Please!

I'm not sure what I did in my 5th gen today!
Sorry I know this is not the thread for this, but I thought it might get eyes on my issue.
I drove 30 minutes in the snow in 4 wheel high with no issues. 3 hours later I started it up only to find the traction control, 4 wheel low, KDSS, airbag, ABS and power steering lights all on the temp gauge, tachometer, speedometer and odometer all non functioning as well as 4 wheel high and low not working. It drove fine and shifted fine in 2 wheel drive, but everything was dead and no miles were logged on the odometer.
Not sure where the tachometer is hooked up to; does someone know? The wire harness to the transmission or transfer case is my best guess for a cause to the issue. Maybe a loose plug from when I re-geared? I checked for loose grounds and such.
I can't find a thread for anything like this on a 5th gen. Any pointers? The car is running and idling normally when I took the photo and looks the same at 60mph.
