Picked up a Yakima Skybox 16 over the weekend. I can't wait to pack it full of camping gear and get some use out of it.

What is this "car wash" thing you guys are talking about? You're not talking about those wet paint stripping facilities, are you? None of my vehicles have ever been tortured in those places.
That's the first thing to do when getting home...trash them. I'm not driving around giving them free advertising. What really gets me is the dealer decals on the back of a car/truck. They have absolutely no business being back there. The only car I ever bought brand new, for my wife, I made sure the dealer knew to not put one on the car...or the sale would be lost.

Agreed. First thing I did after we bought my wife's Subaru and my 4Runner. Decals and plate frames came off.

This is a bit off-topic for the thread, since I did this months ago, but relevant to the latest discussion.
I forgot to tell the folks at Findlay Toyota that I felt strongly about not advertising for them. I started to remove their silver decal from the back. However, as I got partway through the process, I discovered that what I had left on the car was a great motto for what we wanted to do with the vehicle.

Looks really good. I like how you don't have to dick around with removing a liner when you need a seat(s) up. Where did you get it?

Switched from double stacked setup to a single stack set up with my XBull traction boards on my 3/4 rack from LFD. Did this to offset the slight height clearance change from switching to 285
from 275 tires. Used parts: (4) 3” stainless steel 3/8 carriage bolts/washers/nuts, aluminum bushings and knobs from McMaster-McCarr.

I could be wrong, but as far as I know, BLM land is still open for dispersed camping. We made sure to avoid any state parks or state-owned land in general because those are closed.
We were actually looking at Big Bear for our trip, but figured it'd be pretty hard to find a spot remote enough to avoid harassment from rangers.
During my "lunch break" while my toddler was napping, I installed the DD Tail as Turn module with LasFit white LEDs to replace the turn signal bulbs. I also finally installed my Delrin-lined sway bar bushings and aluminum brackets from Ride Tech. I've driven 700 miles since February 2nd, so it may be a few weeks before I can offer any feedback on the bushings, but they are definitely firm compared to OEM.
