I've been told it's not recommended to use the factory tie down hooks. Bent one of mine when I got stuck in a blizzard. Had a guy pull me out and bent one of the hoops on my tow hitch. As for the gap I assume it's a design preference from the company. I've seen several different designs when doing my search (Buffalo Bayou Garage, ARB, Apex Overland, Ironman 4x4). Originally wanted an ARB product but it seemed like everywhere it was sold out.

I guess time will tell if I bought a good set of recovery points.

From my understanding there is reason for that Gap. I know at least the BBG4x4 design. What they told me their design is compatible with Aussie bumper like ARB, ironman4x4 or TJM. I self purchased their BBG-RP150 model and fit well with ARB bumper.

Happy belated bday to me. My wife got me a small drone to play around with and unbeknownst to her also LFD crossbars which just showed up. I put them on today to get positioning, which I'll need to adjust to fully mount the boards, or just buy another bar . Install went easy enough. Thank you to [MENTION=260183]utctscanr75[/MENTION] for the mount tip on the boards.

Excuse my ignorance on these...What’s the benefit here? I have full length prinsu rack. Is it to avoid not having metal spacers on paint?

Yes...especially when using a RTT. The rubber washers I used prior were torn up plus the new spacers have a nice seal on the top and bottom. I also added butyl to keep the mounting points dry.

Installed the TRD exhaust

Yesterday my wife, father-in-law, and I took a trip on Senator Highway (quite a misnomer) from Prescott, AZ to Crown King, and then down to the garden spot of Cleator. About 4.5 driving hours and 60 miles of dirt/rocky trails. A great mix of high pine forest and wide-open high desert.

Pictures of the vistas just don't do them justice, but I captured some pics at a couple of stopping spots along the way.

1 & 2 - A stop on the old stage coach route from Phoenix to Prescott (I wonder how they managed this trip without shocks and a lift kit?).
3 - The saloon in Crown King - their motto "You've never traveled farther for a better burger" -- and it's true!
4 - The Cleator Bar & Yacht Club - a nice spot for a cold one to wash down the dust. Shame they weren't open yesterday...
5 - Just noticed the first battle scars with less than 3500 miles on the odometer. Was this from this trip? Or a couple of days ago while out on Cherry Creek road? Or did someone clip me in a parking lot ?

ARB rear diff breather

Started the install for the ARB rear diff breather. Going to put up on a lift later today for the tubing routing, just mounted the filter/manifold.

Anybody see any issue with this location? Just mounted to existing relay box support bracket so I didn't have to drill into paint/body.

Makes sense...treaty oak did say it's compatible with ARB bumpers. But I've never seen the recovery points with a bumper so I have no way of knowing or verifying it. Thank you...

Transformation complete. 6 weeks ago this was a limited. You wouldn’t know that anymore. A lot of time and work has gone into this build. Happy to have it done (for now)

I installed LED lights (almost) all around. I can see now! :lol:

I'm hoping UPS drops off the intake early enough so I can install it tomorrow.
