Installed DEPO blacked-out tail lights with upgraded reverse LED bulbs. Also upgraded all interior lighting to Phillips LED. Super easy and what a difference!

Let me ask you one more question: lead time and cost aside, if you were just storing a couple bins and random camping things like tents, tarps, sleeping bags, etc - which route would you go?

You can do that with either, and that's mainly the kind of stuff I put on mine. My experience is that you'll have to fiddle with the placement of the crossbars, carriage bolts, and/or tie down rings quite a bit to get everything secured with the Prinsu. I think with the Gobi I'll be able to just throw things up there and strap it down.

The Prinsu is also completely flat on top, so longer/wider things will be much easier to have up there vs the Gobi with all the extra bars.

If you are just storing tents, tarps, bags, just go with a Thule Canyon rack on your factory rails. If you want to put some more weight up there without a huge rack, look into the NiseRack and a Thule.

I went ahead and placed the order for a Gobi stealth rack today. They're running a deal that also includes some upgraded gas shocks along with the ladder and backpack that usually come with it. I was debating whether I wanted to wait until Black Friday to get a discount but my research showed they probably were only going to offer 10% off which in my mind isn't worth the additional two month wait, plus the likely enormous backlog of orders at that time, and I'll get some new shocks out of it which might help the liftgate with the weight of the ladder and the sound deadening. I'm certainly not looking forward to the 4-5 month wait but it will be worth it in the end.

I'm certain they aren't hard to install, but I'm not sure how much they'll help. I still wish we had a consistent option for the automatic lift gate, apparently that China option fails after a few months.

Ordered some Diode Dynamic SS3’s to replace my SAE Baja fogs. With the H9 headlights I’ve got a nice cutoff and they are super bright, then I turn my fogs on and I can see just how high they throw light. I’ve got the “SAE Fix” installed too.

Not sure if I’ll sell the Bajas or keep them, swap the lenses and use them as either rear facing camp lights or potentially grill lights/ditch lights.

Also, my Gazelle T4 arrived! Going to backyard camp tonight with my 3 year old.

These are actually from Rough Country...It's their 3 inch lift(the struts option and not the spacers for the fronts, N3 shocks for the back) I know they have a reputation for being horrible but long story short I didn't feel like spending a ton of money on a kit and not really use it so I bought it. I only spend under $600 for these and honestly I'm kind of impressed. Ride quality is nice and this allows me to fit bigger tires(so much room left with these 285's) Somewhere down the line I'll commit to something better

(The back is a little lower in the picture as I have a trunk and back seats folded full of stuff)

Get yourself some 295s rather than 285s Much better look IMO
