I love the Wildpeaks. I know some have had problems with balancing them but mine are fine.

No issues balancing my 265/70/17 or my new 275/70/17 Wildpeaks. Extremely happy with them.

After a year and a half of rubbing... I feel like I can make the jump from my 195/70/R17 Toyo M/T's to 185/75/R17 without much issue. Time to test.

You mean 295 to 285 right? 195 should of not rubbed.

Why do you hate the KO2s? I was about to buy a set in 285/70

They were great right off the bat, but now they dont seem to have much traction in snow or wet pavement. I still have plenty of tread left and they just seem hard and slick.

The worst part is I have had balancing issues since day one. Every time I go in for a rebalance and explain to them that these tires are hard to balance they reply with "well they are the Ko2's so that makes sense."

I'm at about 40k miles with them and frankly trying anything I can do to wear them down faster so I can convince the wife we need new ones.

My brother-in-law is in the same situation with his Ko2's. He is replacing his with the Wildpeaks this week and I couldn't be more jealous.

I've used k02s for a while now (275s and now 285s) I will be upgrading to either KM3s or STT Pros in 295 in the near future as my rig is no longer a daily driver.

I never had any issue with k02s living here in Chicago. Multiple snow storms and off roading trips and I'm satisfied. I have heard that Wildpeaks are better in snow, but the k02s have been sufficient for me.

i got them for my pu, and was happy. about 10k on them. wife cut one down went to get it replaced, and they didnt make 16.5 anymore. so had to get all new. again happy for awhile, but then they seem to be slick. spin a lot on wet, and dont go well in snow. trucks a garage queen now, and there all flat spotted, and are about wore out. got toyo at3 for my runner, and less than 5k, im happy so far.

Swapped the OEM Japan LED fogs out (which had been swapped in to replace the stock '19 non-LED fogs) for the Diode Dynamic SS3's.

Picture shows the difference with yellow (DD SS3 SAE Sport) and the white (Toyota Japan OEM LED).

Might already be too late, but you might consider swapping off the flood lenses on the ends of the roof bar. I have the same one in white and though the main driving pattern is excellent, the flood light tends to illuminate the hood, reflecting unnecessary glare into my eyes. I'm considering swapping my flood lenses to driving or fog patterns.

I thought about that... Ive had a Rigid light bar before I'm a driving pattern. It pretty much did the same thing.

I thought about the fog pattern but it out be nice flat pattern across. I'll probably order those.

FINALLY got the motivation yesterday to fix my hood/fender alignment after swapping my hood. Lots of tinkering with some fender bolts, headlights, and taking a deadblow hammer to the hood latch lmao (was slightly bent). Much better now!

Seat Heaters

I added seat heaters this weekend. I bought a kit that includes a separate 5-position dial for each seat, just like the OEM system uses. I modified some of the dial wiring to only backlight with the rest of the instrument panel, and dim accordingly.

Not an easy mod, but worth it.
