Got her covered in carpet and 4 point anchored into the cargo area. Just need to finish the drawers.

how do you like the Lauf? I think I saw this on GCN or Bikeradar or somewhere. thought it was pretty interesting design. it's funny now these gravel bikes are coming full circle with shock forks, cannondale topstone for example. I want a gravel bike but the wife will kill me if i had any more lol. i have 4 bikes + 3 kid bikes

I changed out the standard interior lighting to LED. It only goes to show you that if anyone can make a simple task hard, it’s me. Lol! I’m getting too old for this!

Honestly, haven't had time to ride it yet. I put it on the stand to put some frame protection on it and haven't had time since to go for a ride. I'll get out on it this week though so we'll see.

I agree though, I'm interested in the fork. I may swap it for a regular fork but we'll see. Just riding on my driveway/street as I was putting it together, you barely feel the fork. It's almost like it just takes the bumps rather than actually compressing if you get what I'm saying.

Should get a better feel this week.

The wifey and I hand washed it for the first time since we bought it back in Feb. We’ve had the coating and PPF done, so they’ve been washing it.

First time I used a pressure washer and foam cannon. Those two things are a game changer!!! I highly recommend going this route if you want to make it easier. It looks almost comical using a foam cannon.

I will say that I’m a little miffed at my pressure washer as it is leaking oil. Going to have to return it to Home Depot.

front brake caliper pin check

After reading horror stories on frozen caliper pin, I decided to check my 3 year old 4runner. Turned out the lower pin on both sides are seized badly. I managed to mushroom one and bend the other during the process.
Good news: I was able to remove both of them.
Bad news: replacement parts from dealer is CAD17.30 each.
Solution: order cheap kit with 4 pins and all clips online for less than $20.00 and will lube them at every tire rotation from here on.

im so close to purchasing a gravel but debating if i should just pick up a new wheelset and throw on bigger tires. I have a '21 supersix and this bike can clear 32mm. Ted King rides this bike as a gravel bike.

Ordered an Active VE52 electric pressure washer after returning my Ryobi unit which was leaking oil everywhere.

Hope this works out better.

Well, she broke her kneecap about 3 weeks ago=so, it was either let her drive the 4Runner or stay home with me!

I told her I was gonna get a lift, get new wheels and tires, & get off-road lights for the RAV. I tolf her I was taking her (stony) silence as a "yes" and she sicc'd the Pointing Griffon on me-I was almost licked to death!
