I have been toying with the idea of Kenda Klever 35x10.5s. Thinking the skinny tire on stock pro wheels will have fewer issues. Worried about the rear axle needing to be pushed back slightly to avoid rubbing the rear doors. Buddy got them for his tacoma so I’ll be test fitting his on my rig soon.
The guys I wheel with are on 35s with front lockers and the trails are getting harder every trip…. Damn those Rubicon’s!
Locked myself out. Fob is sitting on the seat but doors are locked. Touching the handle does nothing and rear glass won’t roll down. Wife lost the spare key. Looks like I’m calling a locksmith

That’s not even supposed to be possible with fob inside if vehicle.
Discount tire installing 285/70 Toyo AT3 C Load on SCS Gen 5.
Like the look.
Guessing this is lifted? What height front/rear? And did you just have to do the fender mod or bmc? I’m guessing but not sure that the sports are the same as the limited as far as clearances.
Yup, 3/2 Toytec Boss Aluma 2.5. Fender liner has been pushed forward. Very minor rubbing at the mudflap, will be attempting to flatten this hump with a heat gun. Mudflap covers body mount so im sure if its only getting minor rubs now I could push the tire size to 295.
I had the same rubbing and took a heat gun to it and all was solved. Should do the trick for you too!
For the folks who have 285s on the limited (or sports now). If you clear by the fender mod/ heat gun etc. is it all good for the full range of travel and angle? It’s not obvious to me that if it clears statically with steering locked that one would clear if compressed all the way as well?
Does anyone know if clearing on flat road at full steering lock ensures that at full compression you are still good?
