How do you like the 6112s with the 5100s? Thinking the same set up.

Did the 6112s fit in you upper control arms or did you have to go aftermarket UCA's?

FWIW, I have 6112's and kept stock UCA's without a problem and have 285s. 5160's in the back.

Did ~350 miles round trip to see family for Easter. Had a silver 4Runner meet with my '15 Limited, my brothers 4th gen ('06) and dads 3rd gen ('00).

Installed the RCI cat guards on my trans skid plate. Total time to do it was about 30mins. If anybody tries to steal the cats, they're going to have a hell of a time...hopefully, nobody tries it after seeing the full skids and guards. A dealership a few miles North of me had people go in overnight and strip all the cars on the lot.

Waiting on my RCI roof rack now, should be in on Monday.

Did you pull the skid off to install them? I want to do it, but pulling those plates solo seems like a massive PITD.

Yep, loosened the engine skid bolts, removed the rear trans skid bolts, and slid it right out. Located, center punched, drilled, and bolted it all together on the tailgate of the Taco...then slid it back in place and bolted it back in. With a cordless drill, cordless impact, 2 clamps, and a center punch, the whole ordeal took about 30mins.

Installed ARB skid plates. Not as beefy as some out there but for what I use the truck for they're perfect and reasonably priced.

Glad to see someone with these. How do they compare to the stock skids in terms of thickness? Seems like a good option for non-rock crawlers.

I did 5100's all the way around. Went up 1.75" in front and added 1.5" rear spacer on springs. Still has a half inch forward rake = which I like.

Love the ride. less bouncy than stock and not as much body roll.

Since everything came in yesterday and the weather was favorable today, I went ahead and installed the RCI roof rack. Took about 3hrs doing everything solo, and it's fairly easy to assemble it on the roof.

Amazon lists for FJ but it is the same part for 4Runner.

As far as springs, I did not research very much, but I was leaning towards Dobinson: Dobinsons Rear Coil Springs for Toyota 4Runner and FJ Cruiser(C59-505) – Dobinsons Direct

Just more money and I kept the OEM springs.

Finally pulled the trigger on a used wheel/tire setup that's budget build friendly and in good condition.

Found a set of RSSW Krawlers that some dude said came on his used 2015, with TPMS and a set of Pathfinder A/T for $440 all together.

Now I just have to hunt down some 106mm centercaps for the wheels as he was missing them and I don't like the gaudy "XD" style ones anyways.

With gas prices high, and warmer temps of spring finally hitting the Washington DC area, i parked my beloved T4R and started riding my Kawasaki to commute to work

40mpg sounds really good to me from now until Oct.

Looks like second birth? He has a booster seat behind the infant car seat, unless he is really planning ahead, haha.

Got the Eibach pro springs installed today and got it aligned. It aligned perfectly and so far I am very impressed with the springs and the ride is very comfortable.

Running 285/70/17 Toyo open country at3. No rubbing and didn’t even have to remove the mud flaps.
