I am looking at moving to baja boss at as well ..fro. duratracs....how is the noise level
It was about a week ago, but removed the “raptor lights” and installed a Rigid SR series Amber Pro 20” bar behind the upper grill. I used SDHQ brackets and she’s wired to the Switch Pros controller.
I’m able to run the bar at 100% (not shown) for off road, 50% for foul weather, or 10% to function as an accent light. It’s outstanding.

Tires are smooth, although they are brand new, and the noise level is very quiet. Just a slight tad louder than the KO2’s and Wildpeak AT3W’s, which I previously had.

Added ARB Hi Lift mount to the ARB Base Rack
Do yourself a favor and pull the baseplate off that jack and stash it somewhere in the truck. Mine rattled like crazy. It's just held on with a big cotter-pin, so it's easy to get on/off.

I pulled off the base plate and coated the metal on the jack part with rubberized under coating and replaced the cotter pin with one that held the base plate on tighter to minimize rattling. I've had this done to the jack for a few years now and it helped a lot.

Unwound & removed my winch cable that came with my Stegadon winch in preparation for a new one. One outing (with an above average like 8 uses) and I ended up with a knot & several flattened areas of the cable.
The winch saved me and my buddy's butt several times & allowed us to actually leave the woods.
I'll actually be selling this one and replacing it with a Polestar that has a right-mounted controller box. The center-mounted ones are interfering with my TSS. One day when I can actually create a thread I'll post about this because I couldn't find anything about winch suggestions with the TSS before my current setup.

Alternator failed at 320K. Fan clutch failed at 342K, punctured radiator, severed oil cooler line, put 4 “outie dents” in the hood, but wife shut it down before any engine damage. Had to pull the transfer case at about 336K to replace the leaking input seal, along with the other seals.

not today but yesterday/Sunday...i had a little fun getting the tires dirty. They are building a new housing development in my area. They appeared to have the road built into the neighborhood, but i was wrong...the road traveled all of about 50 yards...then boom, dropped you down about 8 inches into dirt and mud where they have cut the roadway...and have obstacles as well. 4Hi got me thru the initial stages of this...4Lo got me thru the rest...quite fun actually, digging and pulling thru the ruts and dirt of where these new houses are going to be. and i got to 'exercise' my 4WD system in the process...

Swapped my 6 year old, 100k mile Bilstein 5100s with a set of Dobinsons IMS I've had sitting in my garage since November. My spring compressor didn't quite fit, so I did the sketchiest thing I could think of and cut it down until it did. I do not recommend.
Also the coating on my Dobinsons coils has failed after 4 years. I do occasionally drive on the beach (like once a year), but they don't use road salts here on a regular basis. I probably should have sanded them and repainted them, but I didn't have that kind of time this weekend.
Other than that, it's not a bad job and I'm pretty pleased with the results.
Oh, and FJ Toyman rear shock skids. 100% recommend.
