No they are not. Well sort of. The clips need to be moved 1/4 inch for them to engage into the wheel.

finished removing my third row seats. I now have a complete third row, mounting brackets, seatbelts and hardware that I want to get rid of. anyone want to add a third row to their 4runner?

Capitol State Forest, just outside of Olympia, WA. I was surprised by how much snow was there. The area caps out at around 2,000 ft, so I was expecting a couple of inches - we hit 3+ ft in some areas.

As noted in my post on the previous page, I've been experiencing an increase of mouse activity in my vehicles. I'm trying some more offensive measures to eradicate them as peppermint oil and feral cats aren't keeping up.
I ordered a set of two ultrasonic devices for automotive use.

Yesterday I installed the first unit in my Subaru Outback, today my '18 SR5.
It mounted easily with zip ties suspending the unit from two perfectly placed clips on the molding above it, resting lightly on the brake cylinder and a zip tie holding the bottom to a bracket.
I took a two minute video of the unit on my work bench powered by my jump starter pack before mounting it. The high pitched tone every 15 seconds or so is my jumper box, which does so to alert that it is in jump start mode.

The unit produces ultrasonic waves, strobing lights and sounds akin to an owl or hawk closing in. It cycles for 30 seconds every three minutes. Now it sounds odd as my Subaru and 4Runner are alternating in making sounds in the driveway. An oddity, the LED readout, instead of having a peel off protective film with imitation digits so that the purchaser can see what the display looks like, has a clear film that I could not peel off fully. I realized after getting some off that the lens over the LEDs is painted. In the dark the LEDs can be seen (as shown in the video), but not when there's light. Weird.
A dryer sheet or two can also be found in the photo, a suggestion by a neighbor.

Got my front rotors turned to take out the warp in them. Second time I’ve had this issue. Shakiness and vibrations when braking are gone now so I’m happy but I’m thinking it might come back again. At that point I’ll do calipers as well as slotted rotors.

Only sat in the box for two years, but finally got the Eibach Stage 1 kit installed - stuck with the 1.8" up front/1" in the rear to level her out, and a set of Spydertrax spacers all around to flush the stock 265s with the fenders and fill out the gap until it's time for an upgrade. Perfect ride height for what I need, but those 275s are going to look crispy when the time comes!

damn I know that feeling. I think the vehicle looks fine with the stock tire size. I think about a 1" lift you can get away with reusing stock tire size.

These 4Runner bottle opener multi-tool. Kindling splitter, bottle opener, rope pull (for tightening tie downs for shelter, tents etc, looks cool. Solid steel. Powder coated and raw steel versions. Great for a utility to throw in the gear box.
