What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

i think i paid $140 for two rotors and about $70 for front brake kit. When removing rotors be sure to use the m8 1.25mm bolts .
second day when i went to remove the rotors with the bolts it only took about 15 minutes start to finish
post up a follow up on the K03 tires, i have the k02 model and about 50k miles on them. I ve had them rotated every 5-6k and minor slipping within the past year on wet pavement.

+1 would like to hear how the KO3's are. Hoping the stock size 265/70/17 in C Load are out sooner than later this year. They are on BFG's site to release this year.
Have run KO2's on my 4R for 50K also and previously a cpl sets on my FJ, was and am very happy with them.

I also swapped to the KO3s from KO2s a few months ago and love them (still in 265/70/17). I didn't have any issues with my KO2s from a grip standpoint but these KO3s have been stellar in heavy rain. My KO2s still looked great but had over 70k miles on them and were starting to get loud. I swapped one of them to my spare. The KO3s have been super quiet in comparison to the KO2s in their grey age.

bought the TRD aluminum front skid plate. Caught it on an $80 off sale at my dealer. $280 is a lot more digestible than $360 for it.
I already have a knockoff TRD PRO grille, so now I just need a cheap takeoff TRD exhaust and my would-be TRD PooRO will be complete!

Got a screw in my AT3W last Saturday, which mean I have to buy an entire new set of tires.

This is something I'm fearful of. Mid 2023 I bought a full set of five AT3W's... then they go and discontinue. Only 12k miles on them so far. If one were to pop now, I'd possibly just mount the spare and buy another spare in an AT4W or such. And if another went, hmm....Got a screw in my AT3W last Saturday, which mean I have to buy an entire new set of tires.

Weekend Project:
1. Took it up to 90 MPH and noticed a light wobble (hopefully just a wheel that needs balancing) so rotated the tires. No more wobble.
<> Carfax records indicate it's a Pennsylvania vehicle. One of the rims has some curb rash but that could very well also mean a sideways slide on ice or snow into a curb. Next month I'll have a shop pull the rear tires off the rims, test the rims then rebalance both. Fingers crossed I won't have to buy a rim.
2. Installed a dash mat to protect it from our hot NC sun
3. Installed two LED lighting strips on the front corners of the hood. Since I rarely need light every time I open the hood, I opted not to use the included push pin switch. An inline 12V waterproof switch arrives tomorrow then I'll upload some photos. (Still getting used to navigating this site, I need it figure out how to start a build thread).
4. Installed cheap SIEMED fog lights but wasn't thrilled so will be pulling them out and returning. I also discovered the passenger front end took a hit some time before my buying it March 1st. The chrome around the fog lights doesn't hold as well as it should, and the two inboard retaining tabs for fog lights are broken. I used some zip ties to provide some tension keeping it in place.
Will be replacing those with Elite Fog Lights from TRS but not until after I fix those plastic tabs.
5. Headlight parts ordered last night: (my first retrofit).
New black headlight housings
Hi/Low beam: 3.0 inch hi/low Bi-LED projectors off Amazon
Hi beam: Morimoto Mini HB
Projector Shrouds
RGB LED rings with Bluetooth controller.
Flexible LED strip to add switchback.
H11 splitter

Too bad you are so far away. I plan to pull my TRD PRO muffler in april and swap it for a standard exhaust --- the drone at 50 has worn me out.
