No, different end caps.
Hope to see what options you find out there as both my front seats are shredded. I have seen complete overhauls from Recaro to Corbeau and read a few swaps from Scion and Lexus, but would love a new seat that isn't difficult to install.

Replaced oil cap gasket yesterday. Old gasket was hard as granite. I used a small pick to remove it.
Could actually feel the cap making a seal on the valve cover with the new gasket.

cleaned starter contacts and such
the 2000 starter started getting jankey with her not wanting to start about every 5th or 6th time. pulled it, removed plunger and contacts, cleaned them, took emory cloth to them, made them nice and shiny like a new penny, put back together - all is well. Cranks strong again.

It does have the gasket, but it's completely flattened over the years. A new one will have a bump, like in my post above yours.

It's not too bad - just get under it with a pick or small screwdriver, and try to not scratch the surface underneath too much.

Not too bad to remove like Leon said. Just a small pick and a little patience.
Easiest gasket to replace on this truck, lol.

That person obviously doesn't know how to maintain his ride. Only knows how to buy brand new and rub in to others how clean their rigs are.

Just tell them a fool and his money shall soon part.
A new vehicle is about one of the worst things people can do when it comes to finances. A new 4wd 4R is ~40k+ and offers only minor upgrades to a 3rd gen. The best argument for a new car is safety though.
I've replaced a lot of parts and put a few mods on my 4R since ownership (6 years ago) and i'm roughly at the cost of like 185 / month. Likewise I could probably get at least 50% of what I paid for it and sunk into it.
