After years of putting up with crappy faded copperish window tint on the front doors, and just the factory privacy glass in the back, I had the tint done at a local shop. Went with carbon tint at 5% in the cargo area and 25% on the doors. If it was my daily driver I would have gone ceramic because of the heat here in the summers but the 4runner is pretty much just my weekend vehicle now

Nitrous and a turbo? Planning on an orbital path?
No Nitro and the twin turbos are OEM and sequential for the engine, one turbo runs at the lower power band and the other kicks in at higher to help the 1st, to say they are not compounding, only going to be make moderate power nothing crazy...

Valve cover gaskets w/ new plugs, wires and coils… every gasket I encounter was aftermarket, the intake plenum w appear to be sealed very well and the spark plug tube seals stayed on the tubes. Not sure the last guy knew what he was doing.

Used some goodies left over from the timing chain job I did on the f150 last April

Replaced my left ABS sensor... then when I was just about done I saw I snapped a neck off my charcoal cannister at some point and didn't even notice. The joys of 30 year old plastic :ranger:
Thankfully I noticed it shake a little when I was closing my hood, cause it snapped off and bounced perfectly back into place like nothing happened

Hopefully the photo isn't the result of thievery. Is that an octane cutoff switch dangling?
It a pic how what a thief did to get around no key and the security Toyota system, the switch is wired around points in the engine bay fuse box trigger the starter
Steering column fog switch, controls the 40" light bar, rewired the rear wiper switch to control the electric fan. ON makes the Fan run on demand, INT the Fans normally (The Volvo/BMW Fan Mod), OFF the Fan can't run on its own until turned back to one of the others. All ON/RUN PWR switch to keep from accidentally draining the Battery.
ECU "New" should be completely integrated into the 4runner.
Plus a number of other systems added/rewired to function as I wanted.
Have to install the dash to wire up a number of OEM/New switches

always enjoy watching your projects,,,,but you say a bmw/volvo fan mod....hmmm...6 months of the year I dont need a fan
tried the search but dont see anything written up on it
It's a mod for people that change over to electric fans, It uses a 2 speed fan relay that came in some 90's Volvo's and a switch out of a BMW that activates said automatically at specific preset temps X2 based on which switch one uses.
if u look up "Volvo 2 Speed fan Relay Mod" in google u'll find all the info u could need.

Built some slim (5”) drawers this weekend. Pretty happy with how they turned out. I’m 6’2 and wanted to lose as little vertical space as possible. Drawers are enough to fit all my tools (save the compressor that still lives behind the passenger seat), recovery gear etc. Still need to finish scribing and carpeting the flip up front portion but I’ll do that next weekend.

Replaced my halogen bulbs with Co-Light retrofit LED projectors and the difference is pretty big.
Also completed the rear differential breather mod; my original breather was practically rusted shut so I’m glad I did this job when I did as I believe I was on borrowed time before my axle seals blew!

Nashely cleaned after driving thorugh baby diapers
had some concrete from a renovation to dispose of - took to local dump and started throwing it in dumpster - about 1/2 way done and attendant says I must take it to the rock pile - had to drive 3/4 mile through a "2 days of rain" soaked landfill strip to the rock pile and get rid of the rest - it was like driving through 10,000 lactose intolerant baby diapers -
found a harbor freight random orbital high rpm polisher - this is my 2000 5 speed post baby diaper clean off love
