Waxed with Nu Finish.

Looks like a brand new truck. There was virtually no shine when I started this morning.

Cleaned my K&N filter.

Discovered that after 8+ years it is disintegrating. They offer a lifetime warranty so I will be calling them tomorrow.

I finished up with my new one last weekend ( headgaskets ), drove it a little over the week and noticed it had an axle seal leaking so I replaced an axle seal this weekend.

Gave the old girl an ass lift. Just used Daystar 1.5" spacers until I put a real lift on it.

Spoke with K&N this morning and they are mailing me a new filter cone!

I didn't even need to put down a CC #, send a receipt or mail the actual cone back. They only required the identifier number on the cone and agreed to mail me a replacement.

Cleaned my K&N filter.

I had a busy weekend.

Replaced:

UBJ's
LBJ's

OTRE's
CV's
Calipers.

Calipers were done because after finishing everything else and getting aligned, one froze up. Had the Autozone warranty, so just replaced both for free.
(The brown in the picture is dirt, not rust. Promise. =)

My rear bumper will be replaced, but unfortunately her car folded so much it dented the rear hatch, which is repairable. I'm still driving mine around, she's not! :trophy:

She needs a new hood, grill, headlight, front bumper, crash bar, AC condensor, radiator, upper radiator support, front right fender, the fender pushed in the passenger door and she lost both front fender liners. Pay attention when you drive, people.

To be honest, I don't really want an aftermarket rear bumper. The stock bumper looks good, doesn't weigh much and doesn't hold me back offroad. And once you add a low profile rear bumper, the spare tire is still sitting down low; I guess I just don't see the point. I do want an aftermarket front bumper though.

I got a brand new custom front and rear offroad bumper for the same price it was to fix my rear bumper! I got rear ended and took the money to a fab shop and got 2 free steel bumpers.

Get a quote and then have the insurance company write you a check for the quoted amount. Spend the money how ever you want... if it were me, I'd straighten that rear bumper or buy a certifit one and use the rest of the money for goodies!

I am just gonna be real with you, I've been wanting someone to do exactly this to me so I can get a new bumper. I'd get a plate and put the spare elsewhere (roof or swing out), but that's me.

You can buy a Savage Offroad Rear Bumper (like mine) for $450 + shipping.

The cost or a new factory Chrome rear bumper will easily exceed $600.00

Use the other money to fix that rear hatch.
