Put in a new rear u joint. Any and all vibration I have ever felt or thought I felt is now completely gone!! Thinking of replacing the rest of the u joints just to see how smooth the drive train can be. But the front ones can actually be greased where the stock one is impossible to get grease in.

It was DIY for sure. Only cost about $16.
However I did have access to an air hammer that made it a bit easier. But with some 14 mm wrenches a hammer, vise or something to hold it and some sockets you'll be good.

Sorry no write up, i can say that the only real tools that you should need to do this is a really good hammer and 14mm wrenches. It took about 30 minutes start to finish, really easy.

Did some more of my 4wd conversion... Trans is in and filled, tcase is flushed and filled... Front diff is in with the 4.88s... Both driveshafts and shifter are in... Just need to deal with the tcase crossmember and controls for tcase and diff... Hubs are on the way

A friend of mine is starting a vinyl business, so we made a center blackout for my runner. Also plastidipped the grille, and did the Tacoma whip mod to fix the antenna I snapped off a few times.

Sell it already and get a 4x4!

Literally have been so unmotivated this whole summer. But with school starting back up, its been motivating me more to sell it and get a 4x4. Just washed it the other day and took a few pictures. Gotta vacuum and tidy up the interior and get some pictures. Have a few things linned up for me this weekend including: Timing belt, water pump, new fuel filter, oil change, and its been throwing a CEL every now and then. P0120 if I remember correctly. It's my throttle body positioning sensor. Going to get in there this weekend and clean the throttle body, clear the code and see if that gets rid of it. THEN, ill post the ad to sell it. In the mean time, my eyes will be glued to the computer screen searching for that perfect 4x4!
