I drove it for the first time without my parents in the car. I just turned 16 today and got my license.

Happy 16th. That takes me back to 1994. The driver ed teacher asked me if I had ever driven before as I turned the key. I said sure, in Pole Position, in the arcade, but have never finished the game, crashed too many times. He asked me to exit the car.

I cleared some debris out of my sunroof drain channel so the darn thing would close.

I did the same.
The LC 80 & 100 have driveshaft clunk. It comes from the slipyoke. 99% of the time you MUST use a Moly Grease to eliminate it.

I also enjoyed the easy starts now.

I also found that I had to use the moly grease on the slipyoke to get rid of my clunk, it persisted with normal grease.

^^how do you like the clear corners? I am glad you posted it, I have white too and was contemplating clear corners.

Finally got the Poly bushings from Wheelers offroad installed today

96-02 4Runner Polyurethane Steering Rack Bushing Kit ES8-10101G-1
96-02 4Runner Front Anti-Sway Kit
96-01 4Runner 4WD Rear Anti-Sway Kit, 18-1116

Then a new Fuel Filter and changed the oil in the Front/Rear differentials..

I also ordered the parts for the Steering Rack Guide...I was surprised the Dealer didn't have those in stock.

My original bushings weren't that bad considering they were 10 years old.

Then I splurged and went to Auto Zone and picked up a vanilla scented air Refresher that clamps to an air vent..

It's all good now....

Spent over an hour trying to get a damn cv axle nut off. What I get for not paying attention and letting someone else put it on there to begin with. On the bright side, I now own a propane torch

Ya that will happen with these things. And no, I have not gotten the coils yet. The guy dropped them off on the 21st, I have confirmation of that from USPS. But the tracking info stops there. It says they've been accepted in Cali, but thats it. I've called USPS only to get the run-around saying they have up to 14 days to deliver before a complaint can be made. Oh well, I still have to wait til the end of March to get the rear end parts. I bought them off a guy in Minn., and my brother is bringing them home with him when he comes home for the wedding...saved myself $50 in shipping that way. So I'm not in a huge hurry, its just that USPS is ridiculous in taking so long.

Ordered a 3" aero turbine muffler for the new exhaust setup. I just need to get a flange cut and I've got everything I need! Also planned out my EGT probe install, hoping to get that done in the next couple of weeks, so I can get my gauges installed.
