NIce work guys! I washed mine for the 3rd time in a week, and then polished the Alloys, bumpers, nerf bars, and the grill! Ready for polish and wax... most likely tomorrow!

I got the leaf blower out to remove the 3" layer of pollen covering the surface. I love the Desert Dune color, you could hardly tell it had the pollen on it.

My black one meanwhile...not so much

Performed the front brake tundra swap on my lunch break and after work i installed a yakima loadwarrior basket. I was surprised to see that the brembo rotors and the yakima basket were made in china. What a shame!

Installed a new-to-me Yakima rack:

Bars + Q Towers + VW Clips + Ski/Snowboard Rack = $70
VW clips + $25 = 44" Fairing
Correct clips = $50
Sold extra board rack = -$25
Total for rack = $120!​

Also, replaced the front pads with some ceramic ones because the old ones were making a god-awful grinding/noises. 3 of 4 pads still had half their material, the 4th was basically done for, and they all showed signes of cracking/crumbling. Needless to say, I will not be buying Duralast pads from Autozone ever again.

Need to square away some tax stuff and a proper apartment, then hopefully some suspension work

That sounds more like a seized caliper than a problem with the pads to me (the uneven wear issue).

Entirely possible. The caliper didn't seem at all seized though - It was easy enough to push the pistons open (with the reservoir open)... would that be any indication of the calipers having seizing problems or not?
