What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Finally got around to getting the whole water pump/timingbelt/pulleys/cam and crank seals/drive belts and pink coolant done. Put on a new woodruff key and a new crank bolt also. All original at 190,240 miles. Not bad for a 10 year old truck, huh. Good for another 110k miles now.

Yesterday I installed the oh sh!t handle on the driver side roof, fixed my lock actuator for my driver rear door, installed new poly bushings for the sway bar and end links, and I replaced the upstream o2 and reset the EFI. Overall productive day.

Seafoamed it through the PCV hose. Figured I'd do it again since I fixed the exhaust leak and I'm hoping cleaning out some old carbon build up will help my mileage.

Picked up all my recent purchases from the parcel service I use in the US:
-front and rear trutrac LSD's
-Pioneer 6.5 & 5.25 speakers
-3" 90 degree mandrel bends, 3" stainless tubing, Aero Turbine 3" muffler
-some snowmobile parts

I need to get my boost and EGT gauges installed before I want to do the exhaust, so I can get a before/after comparison, and then it's time for a manual boost controller!

replaced the 02 sensor today. it was a little too easy... Everything went way too well. I had to have done something wrong lol

FS, slightly used 02 sensor. Threw a code about a month ago, cleared it, never saw it again. i want $400... :hiding:

Put the lift kit on! Still need to align it, hook up the rear sway bar, and install the 285/75/16 tires! I know it's got an extreme rake right now, the smallish tires really exaggerate it. I'm sure it will look a lot better once I black out the wheels and put on the 285's.

Yesterday i fixed my front bumper that got smashed in from an incident a while back. Had to literally pull it out and straighten out the mounts with a monkey wrench. :boink:
Also I was having idling problems where my car would stall at stop signs/lights. Tightened up my throttle body cable and transmission cable and also cleaned out my TB. It has only been a day now but so far so good! :beer:
I'm now considering doing the 'O' gasket mod. Currently pricing around. Cheapest I've seen so far is around $18 after ship. I saw somewhere that a guy on rimpainter.com sells them for $6 shipped but that was a while back. Anyone know where is a good place to get one?

^ just curious, how many bumper brackets are there? Mine is tweaked a little and I think I can get away with just straightening out the brackets. Haven't climbed under it to look at it though.

Ok so this weekend I fixed the damage to the front end (see my post ouch!)
I fitted a 99 console.
I removed the running Boards
I adapted the center bezel to hold a 3 12v an 1 5v usb hub (removed the ashtray)

Replaced fuel filter today, wasn't too bad if you manage to get the lines seated correctly the first time. Figure the stock toyota one was probably on there since it was built. Going to have to cop-out and pay someone to drop the new clutch in though, looks beyond my ability/time constraints :sobbing:

There are two brackets on mine. You can find them by removing the signal lights and they are located just a few inches towards the center, one screw on top of the bracket and one on the bottom, easy to spot. You can find them if you get under the truck as well. There is also a screw located on each side of the bottom fender. You'll need to remove those two as well since they are screwed onto the frame. so that's a total of 6 screws I had to take out. 4 from the brackets holding the bumper and the last two, one on each side, on the bottom fender. I'll try to get some pics up later if necessary, but you can find them pretty easily. 12mm wrench for the first 4 screws, I forget what I used for the last two. :cheers:
