Installed an AVS Bugflector II bug deflector($49 shipped). I love it!! It's what my baby was missing.
My windshield stays so clean now. Then I got her washed and waxed.

Ordered O2 sensors, fuel filter, PCV valve, Plug wires...I think that is it. It's tune up time.

Today I had my mechanic:

Replace LBJ's w/ OEM Toyota
New tires w/ Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S
Replace Valve cover gaskets
Replace Radiator

All preventative.

This weekend I will:

Replace spark plugs w/ OEM Toyota
Replace wires w/ NGK
Replace Fuel filter w/ OEM Toyota

I went on an electrical spree today - simple stuff though.

Removed an old Motorola Car Phone setup that had a few miles of wire under the carpet and dash, wired in a new pair of 12v outlets in the passenger footwell, and did the blue wire mod for the locker. (Grey wire mod, but it's blue on my truck)

Felt good to clean up a bunch of old wiring and give the radio bezel and such a good cleaning. So many years worth of grime and spilled drinks.

Next weekend I'm hoping to tackle installing brand new coils and shocks on the rig... get her ready to get off pavement!

Installed a new K&N air filter last week. Yesterday, I changed out the plugs (NGK 4302 Platinum), wires, cleaned the MAF, and adjusted the tires' pressure (using new Joe's Racing tire gauge).

Just returned from a long road trip and got an amazing 21 MPG on my 2002 4Runner, 2WD. Best it has been in a looooong time.

Need to wash all the dead bugs off tomorrow.

Detailed her the other day, clay bar, polish, glaze, finally did the deck plate mod and threw in a Kool Blue air filter, and then installed a warn M8000 in the ARB today.
