Sounds like a nice set of plans there man! Peterborough?? Why is it nobody is from my area?? lol!

I met one other guy here locally that had a 3rd Gen, but he was a total goof! lol! He didn't take very good care of it, had some good awful "Sport Edition" decals all over it, and was running 285's on stock wheels and no lift! The darn thing rubbed as soon as he would take a corner!

Anyway, good luck with the mods, and make sure to post some before and after pics of that too! Actually... why not start a build thread??? Most of us have them, and it's a good way to document what you've done to the truck!

Yes - that's a good idea. I'm a moderator on fastboatscanada.com, so my time is somewhat limited, but I'm going try and document my progress. I've tried to do that with my boat as well. Thx for the feedback.

Long overdue but finally did the rear diff breather extension. I was under the truck changing my rear diff fluid so thought it was an appropriate time.

Made some more progress on the 02 Sport center dash conversion. Got the backlights rewired, now all I have left is the rear defroster and hazard switch.

Rear wiper

I copied another YT owners suggestion and replaced my wipers with silblades. I had to follow suit on the rear and modify it. The wiper used to make contact with the window sill and did not make a clean swipe while in operation. So, here's my fix.

Dremeled out the weak side of the rivet.

OE wiper arm attachment....I think.

Freshly painted components and the new silblade. Note my modification. The stand off. The blade sits outside of its designed slot.

Now there's no contact to destroy my new wiper.

Walked past it to the driveway and drive my VW to work. I just got the 4R and can't wait to drive it. 2001 SR5, Lease is up on the VW in 2 days! Back to a SUv!

Changed my oil - pain in the ass with the Budbuilt. Oh well.... I sold my Lightforce lights and have a buyer in line for my wheels and tires. Mods incoming....

2002 Sport Edition Dash Swap

Completed my dash and console swap to the updated 02 Sport Edition. All switches and lights working (minus defroster). Love the updated look and the new cupholders!

Also have an 02 steering wheel to put in once I find an airbag for it.
