Accidentally broke rear heater core coolant line then said "ahh the heck with this" and pulled the whole thing out and "deleted" the whole system.

Fixed a couple rust areas, well at least started to before I broke the line. For some reason that was the only line that corroded over time.

Test fit new bumper. Took it back off.
Still need to do the custom work (extra fog light recesses, more internal ribs, paint, etc)

Also my cargo compartment is covered in sawdust.. dang cargo box makin' a mess.

Autometer gauge

I have almost completed the autometer gauge install. I have yet to do the lighting. I need a bit more time for that. I'll end up using the ashtray lighting for it. I hope the positive and negative cables are clearly marked. I don't want to burn out my bulb.

I'd like to put the photos here, but this is not the right place for them. I'll put them somewhere else and inform everybody later.

Light bulbs aren't polarity sensitive. Tap into the wires at the ashtray bulb and hook them up to the gauge bulb.

Washed it. Waxed it. Took a deposit on it. I'll be sad to see this one go but I made a nice profit and it'll free up a lot of cash to start on the '00 I just bought.

Got the major part of my rear bumper removal done--freeing up any rust locked nuts and bolts.

Tomorrow will bring assessing the mounting brackets and figuring out which new bolts and nuts I need, plus a clean up of the area before the new bumper goes on.

Have to size things up and make sure the new bumper fits, and then remove it for painting the back etc.

Will have the new one on by Wednesday at the latest, as that allows for the picking up of any hardware I'll need for a proper install from Toyota. Not sure if I need to replace any brackets yet--and which bolts are easy to find at NAPA, etc.

Actually, all my hardware appears fine, and all I will need are new nuts and bolts for a lot of areas. The nuts are beyond recognition, as are most of the hex-head bolts. Anyone know which ones I should grab at my NAPA store tomorrow?

More than halfway through my cargo box build.. So far 7 hours into it.

I know i'm slow, but I measure like 5 times before I cut and take my time cutting and putting all the pieces together. I purposely over engineered it, definitely stronger than it needs to be. Its gonna be sweet when its done though!

Tranny and diff fluid changed to synthetic finally. Redline MT90 74W90 GL4 and 75W90NS GL5 respectively. Drained diff. fluid was pretty dark/dirty. Drained tranny fluid looked ok, some tiny aluminum sparkles present. Re-used the gaskets btw, shrug.

Easy job, just slid under and went to work, somewhat messy and I couldn't find my pump so had to got to Pep Boys and spend another $10 on a new one.
