Started bloody raining the other night so I dragged the 4runner into the garage and finished connecting the tranny cooler lines in preparation to pulling the boat to the lake for the first time this year! Can't wait!

Drove it to the hardware store, and to my Advanced Medical First Responder Training classes. Had two random guys, come up to me and tell me that my truck was "in sick shape!" and ask me "did you rebuild your Toyota?" lol!

I love this truck! It's nice to get praise from random strangers! lol!

Finally finished and installed my cargo/speaker boxes arty:
Big thanks to BFAD and Ripcord for the inspiration and ideas! Sounds better than I thought it would and all my stuff fits in them! Much better than the tote and loose crap just laying in the back.
What do you think?

New LBJ's, new O2 sensor, new OEM fuel filter (lifetime, my ass!), new receiver (trailer) and wiring, rear diff and transfer case fluid change, oil change, factory skid plate refit, and transmission cooler / rad bypass! Love this site!!!
Next: Coolant system flush, Scanguage ll install, and Seafoam treatment; the last will be put off for a while, just did oil change... BTW total success w/ Denso first time fit oil filter and fore O2 sensor!!!

I started making one with regular plywood, but decided if I was going to go through with a project like this, WHY NOT DO IT RIGHT?!

I made them out of 3/4" MDF for best subwoofer sound :biggrin2: and painted them after many, MANY hours of sanding, priming, filling holes and more sanding.
The color really matched well with the Oak interior... It's from ACE Hardware, the color is called Khaki Gloss.

Paypal... As tempting as it is, it would cost a premium for me to do it again out of my small 2 car garage/driveway for someone else... I'm not saying it is completely out of the question, but I would have to give it some serious thought before I said yes :wink2:
