i have an issue with my brake lines... the rear one is leaking because i can not get it tight enough without starting to twist the hard line all up... long story you can read about if it you care to in my thread i posted up today about the extended brake line instal..., anyhow i dropped the front to the ground so that the master cylinder would be lower than the upper fitting on the rear brake line so it would not leak out all of the brake fluid... you can see from the pic that there is a puddle under the center of the 4runner behind the rear tire, yeah thats brake fluid -dot4 stuff FML. so yeah leaving the front tires off does two things, it prevents me from forgetting about this, and jumping into my truck first thing in the morning, to go get coffee, and it keeps the MC lower than the fitting thats lose....

I added "Industrial Moving" to the list of things I've done with my truck. This is a 12 Ton (capacity NOT weight!) Trane rooftop unit. Couldn't get a crane or equipment to remove it. After fabbing up a big rolling jack frame to get it on the ground, I made a smaller "dolly" to pull it out of the parkade.

Well spring break has arrived so its time for a marathon mechanic week. Since October, I've been researching and trolling this forum and have to say thank you to all the posters
been buying things for months and have a pile of parts in the garage.
This week so far.
Primed, painted 4xinnovations front plate bumper
Installed ome 3" lift, I'm thinking i installed the rear springs backwards because she's listing to the right
Installed diff drop
Removed front pass fender and repaired damage caused by previous owner via damage multiplier (brush guard)
Started T R S F X R headlight retrofit.
Started grill mod
Want to install a t f fluid cooler while I've got the bumper off, retro headlights, front bumper, and fix the lift (g r r r r r r) before Sunday because it's back to school on Monday i don't wanna go to school! I'm sick...good thing I'm not a student or I'd skip until this puppies done

Got my new tires wrapped on my new wheels and installed on the truck, love them!! Found a set of 99 coils for the rear cause my ass is sitting a little lower than I'd like, hope it fixes the problem...

Had a new head unit installed w/ bluetooth and usb adapter. Had the factory with the cassette plug in but the rear driver side speaker didn't like it and you could hear it popping while playing itunes. It didn't do it for the radio or pandora so i figured it was just a problem with it reading the phone. Anyway like this one much better. hopefully the pic isn't to big.
Edit: Crap it is. I really need to learn how to resize pics. Help anyone? Pm me as to try to keep this on topic.

What are you using to upload??? I use photobucket and just resize them to 600x450 and replace the original upload to keep space down or I use tapatalk an just got the unlimited picture hosting.

Nice choice! I just installed the same unit a couple weeks ago and am super happy with it.
Also, as said above, you can resize in photobucket and you can direct link to the pic there instead of attaching the pic to your comment in the thread.
EDIT: Out of curiosity, where did you put the microphone?

Thanks for the info. Might try the photobucket thing. Put the mic on the right side of the dash just below the gas gauge. I told the installers on the steering column but they put it there. Haven't received a call to see if it works but I can always move it. Do you have any problems with how bright the lights are at night? most of the reviews said they are really bright but I'll find out tonight. At least I'm one step to getting my runner where yours is at :guitar3:

[MENTION=88434]wanta4runner[/MENTION] They are REALLY bright. I found that the light yellow (lemon?) color scheme is the least bright, but it's a bit too much still. I have the dimmer on too. I'm actually thinking about somehow dimming them further - maybe using that spray on stuff people put on their tail lights or corner lights... It's the only bad thing about it really.
It's a long story, but I'm going to install my mic into the dash bezel right next to the head unit. I already have a hole there from an Auxiliary headphone jack I had added onto the factory deck, so I need to put something there. Hopefully the acoustics work out decently.

I read someone was going to try black nail polish (not to keen on this idea) and another going to try to remove the face and put tint on the led's. Don't think I want to try that. Your idea might be good, let me know how that goes..
