4x innovations plate bumper mock up. Need to do some cutting, make some modifications to accommodate for 1" BL then off to paint and VR winch install.

I test fitted my Tru-Cool 4590, it will require some slight modifying of a bracket. I plan on bypassing the radiator and yes, I know some may find this excessive but I don't want to redo this project again.

Considering that you live in a hot humid climate, you should consider using two of those coolers. Without the radiator to help modulate the fluid temp, and running up hills, you will quickly overwhelm the tranny cooler.

It hasn't been throwing any codes, but I have pulled and degunked the IAC once already. I'm going to pull it again and run the FSM diagnostics on it, but that P0505 code you list already has me on some good leads. Thanks!

I'll be receiving a used tb/tps/iac combo for my 2.7 liter soon and I'll report if it has fixed my high idle problem.

Much appreciated. I've got a new IAC coming too--when I tested the old one off the battery, there was zero response. No valve movement at all. So fingers crossed!

As for today, started the Big 3 wiring upgrade and planning how to run power to the interior for an amp and inverter.

Post move...going on 12 months now.

....for the move west.
I'll be takin' it nice and slow to Montana.

In the Badlands of South Dakota, I started overheating on the coolant temp. I believe the water used in the radiator was not distilled. There is calcification buildup in it. I'll be flushing it soon.
Transmission went over 210* while crossing over the Appalachian Mountains in West VA and I was going about 28 mph. I wouldn't go any faster.
I am considering adding a turbo and since there is so much room under the hood, 2.7 liter, I think I'll place a turbo there rather than near the muffler.
The U-Haul trailer weighed in at 1,500 pounds and I was going on average 65-75 mph all the way to MT.

Now I have IAC high idle problems.

IMO that may be the eventual cause to the pink milkshake syndrome. I have 3 buds with 4Runner's and the only one who's had rad issues is the buddy who adds water to the coolant res. or rad straight from the tap. The rest of us have never used anything but that pre-mixed Prestone stuff . This is a observation of about 10 years of ownership between all of us . Possible ?

Well yesterday went to the badlands with Clund21 and Millerad and got a little dirty. So this morning I washed it for about an hour and a half.
