Ok...started last night...pulled the rusty ol sway bars out broke all 4 end links doing so. Scraped and repainted them. Put in new steering rack bushings and all new sway bar bushings and unexpectedly did the end links as well. Ended up putting front links in the rear too because nobody stocks the rears and fronts were cheaper anyhow. The red is silly but I had it left over and it is good paint so I saved a couple bucks there.

Last weekend....

Toytec Ultimate lift kit (I gained about 3.5" of lift from current, I suspect that involves time/age sag)
New:
Front:
650lb Eibach coilovers w/ Bilstien shocks
Upper/Lower ball joints
Axles
Sway bar links
Changed out gear oil for syn (Royal Purple)
ARB Bumper
XRC10 winch (syn cable)
Still need to install 120w 20" LED light bar (on Fog circuit)

Rear:
OME 890 coils
Bilstien 5125 shocks
Stabillizer links
Almost changed the drums and brakes too, but in good shape

2 days, 1.5 persons (my friend helped half the time...) :bigok:

New pads and rotors up front, painted calipers red. Touch up all the paint on the chassis and frame. Put extended brake hoses on (97 Toyota t100) bleed the entire system and adjusted rear shoes.

Sounds to me like you either need to go back to 2wd and clean the sand outta your vajaja or SAS that chit like everyone else lol... Congrats on the swap!

LOL man if only I had the money for the SAS swap I'd be done with it... for now I'll just have to use these junk ass half shafts and warranty them WHEN they break.

speaking of sales and vehicles, i think ill be pulling my runner off the market... i installed a set of poly bushings made by whiteline for the 4runner yesterday, my alignment whows seam to have vanished... i took the new LCAs and ran a screwdriver through the bushing and was able to almost effortlessly manipulated the bushing, bending it, contorting it, and moving it all around. if i can do this by hand imagine what the weight of the 4runner would do to those things. i tried the same thing with the old LCAs with the new poly bushings in them and yeah not even a pry bar was moving them around so i called it good, slapped them in and took it out for a drive.... love the feel, and no a squeak of sound -lubed everything up with syl-glide and installed it.

so its back at the dealer today to get the alignment for the 3rd time lol, and then i am gonna go pick it up tuesday night, i dont want to have to wait but the wife is on call tonight so dont really have a choice... im gonna leave it up for sale for the rest of the week, so that im not to premature in axing the add, but if i like the feel and have no complaints im gonna keep it, or at least fight to keep it.

Changed my plugs after 230K. Wish I would have taken a picture of the old ones. About 3/4 of the electrode was gone. DAAAAA Wonder why.

Ordered Parts needed for the Tundra Brake Upgrade, also a Steering rack from a junkyard, I will give it a whirl first, heck for $100 why not, the 4runner had less than 60k on it.

As soon as I threw on the Tundra Brake's, I have had no problems with my braking what so ever. No pulsating, and no more warped rotors. :fro:
