Installed 3in lift. Found out that previous owner must have lived where they salt the roads in the winter. Nothing wanted to come apart correctly.

In the past 3 days I've installed king coilovers, oem LBJ's, 99' tall coils, Rancho 5000xl shocks, oem fuel filter, poly steering rack bushings, diff drop spacer, brembo blab rotors, Wagner thermo quiet pads. Ordered and waiting for lotus development lower rear control arm skids, poison spyder d shackle mounts, total chaos UCA's, OME 906 coils, outdoor logic rear antenna mount, CBI ditch light mounts, and another set of dually II's to come in the mail. Frickin anxious like a kid at Xmas!

I finished installing a set of OME 906 (one 10mm trim packer each) and a set of Bilstein 5100 shocks in the rear. Once I realized I needed a 5mm allen socket, it went pretty smoothly.

Shocks...believe they are the original with 212k on them. When I hit them with a hammer to get them off, fluid poured out of the bottom:

After the install:

After fighting getting the shocks mounted, I took some 60grit to the lower mount, then applied some synthetic grease, and used a clamp to work the shock on. Worked really well and only took a couple minutes.

Ahh sorry forgot to mention I'm swapping out my rear coils to 906's because the 99 talls didn't give the lift I wanted. My truck sits too high in the front due to the king coilovers.

Replaced valve cover gaskets, cam seals + rtv and half moons again with more rtv. My main area of leakage was from the cam seals.

Performed some maintenance this past weekend. Replaced timing belt, some pulleys, water pump, radiator, and installed external transmission cooler (B&M 70264). Time to do it with 97,000 miles on my 3rd gen. Did all the work at home to save a couple bucks!

Installed a new side view mirror, Wade window thingys, and trimmed and re-installed my valance.

Oil change yesterday with synthetic blend ONLY 3200 miles over due (my normal interval is 3k-4kmile). Oil was clean and right at the full mark before change!!
