Put new springs and wheels on my '99 -- OMEs 881/906 combo with new 398 Manx wheels from Vision. Went old school white letters out. Added just a slight lift but my stock springs were toast, this is much better. Racks and lights next...

This was actually last Friday, but I got my injectors cleaned and put them back in and buttoned 'er all up.

I asked for the before and after flow rates. Not really sure why they test at 2 different time intervals, so I don't really know what it all means. :shrug:

Do those just bolt on to the factory mount holes? I don't like the crud that accumulates on the running boards and they rubbed rust spots on the body paint so I took them off, but my kids need something to step on and those look pretty good.

I got a set of those for my Runner 15 yrs ago, yup they bolt on existing holes, no drilling.

Finally installed the spacers, lift, new tires, and ham radio for my son. I also painted the interior plastic pieces and threw on a bug guard.

Looking at getting the exact same lift. How does it feel so far? Do the Fox 2.0 shocks have the stud mount or do you have to use an eye to stud adapter? Also, you have to order the Fox shocks for a 4th or 5th gen 4Runner or for an FJ to fit the super flex coils right? Sorry for the barrage of questions. Your Runner looks great and I'm sure your son is going to love driving that thing around. Cheers!

If you order from Toytec, they will swap the mounts before shipping to you, making them a direct bolt-on. Toytec changes product numbers to help differentiate 3rd and 4th Gen Runners, but it's actually the same part #. They pair nicely with the SuperFlex.

I had a slow leak in one tire and a screwed up valve stem core in another. Dropped by a tire shop to have the issues taken care of.

While we were at it, I had the shop guy redo all 4 tires. He did a great job cleaning the wheel lips for a solid seal (there was a nasty build up of gunk). I shouldn't have a problem with air escaping now. Another thing I decided to have done was get the tires flipped. Previous owner wasn't a fan of white lettering, so he had them on the inner wheel, I kinda like the white lettering, so I figured I'd bring them back out to enjoy the daylight, lol.

Looking forward to giving the wheels a good scrub come spring time.

I think it was at two different pressures? Looks like you got a 6% increase on average which isn't bad. When I did my 3VZ-E injectors mine was pushing 15% since they were old. Just compared the Section A and Section B numbers and it makes more sense. Looks like the tech knew what he was doing though, he put the richest injectors in the center of the engine.

The PCV valve probably needs to be replaced (BUY ONLY TOYOTA!!!! ~15$), that solved my "oily" throttle body

I knocked off a few projects today. I installed a new backup camera, satellite radio antenna, and license plate trim panel at the back, and then did part of the LED conversion up from, and installed a USB outlet in place of one of the power sockets.

Took a little work with the Dremel tool to get this to fit, but it turned out pretty nice.

I went out just above the 3rd brake light for the XM antenna.
