Just got my 3rd Gen, currently in love.

Remplaced sidemarkers bulbs by LED's Straight from china. they were worth they wait for the price. (i had to turn to aliexpress since the Canadian dollar is just falling vs the US so my conversion fees are right now killing me!)

Finding some problems with my windshield fluid tank. there a leak somewhere.... got to wait to summer to find it :ranger:

Not too long ago I replaced one of the 12v outlets below the stereo in the center portion of the console. Not as easy as you might think.

Had to order an extended rear brake line. Then realized I needed a new front sway bar bushing and bump stop set and top plate spacer from Wheelers to deal with the lift aspect finally being done after several months of being a cheap ass with accumulating parts.

I finished the 231mm Tundra break upgrade today. I had the 15" wheel rotors before and the truck barely stopped. Now I feel like it stops like a race car!

OME springs/diff drop came for the front.

Ordered a TRD s/c setup last night. Also Denso o2's, rear wheel bearings and seals.

Finished my extended diff vent, sway bar end links, greased driveshaft, relay for led blinkers, vacuumed it. Some other small crap today. This weekend will be lift, ss brake lines, bump stop extensions, diff drop, axle bearings and seals.

bump stops in the front are just a band-aid for trimming. also your uca is going to rub even worse with a top plate spacer.

The spacer is for driver side lean. I don't intend to remove my sway bar and Wheelers kit comes with the new bump stops. Figure replacing 16 year old stuff isn't a bad idea anyway.

move the perch up one on the drivers side, running just a top plate spacer on one side is a mistake. I have my drivers side on the 4th, passenger on the 3rd.

About a week and half but I do carry alot of tools for work everyday about 300 pounds that stay in the truck all week and pull them out for the weekend.
But I also added a couple hundred pounds of cinder blocks to settle them in quicker and also allowing me to see how the truck will handle with weight (passengers, future rear bumper,air compressor ) etc also helped to work out sqeaks noises from loose parts or bushings as well cause lots of times you dont hear those new sounds til your loaded down.

What is it that you will be installing for your lift?

its the same as adding shims or moving the preload collar on a coilover. adding a top hat to one side, would be like moving the entire coilover mount up and down.

Also I'm pulling a tad more than 11" up front with 35's and my current setup, and only rub slightly at full lock, so my setup is doing exactly what i need it to however unorthodox you might think it is. I'm not the only one running a tapered body lift now .

I tried those wheelers poly bumps, but the poly part just spun around the stud when I tried to tighten it at all, so I thought I'd take them off and they just spun more. PITA to remove. Maybe I got bad ones, but it's just food for thought.

Cleaned it up after about 6 months of sitting in the driveway!
+New radiator and an oil change... Touched up some trail rash...

Took the dog for a hike in short sleeves and washed it in the yard. New Hampshire 56 degrees in February. Crazy.

The Install was not bad, just have to drill 1 hole in the LCA for the bolt closest to the hub.
As for the Skids... My experience was terrible, the Customer service from BAMF is beyond ridiculous, and the wait time for 2 small pieces of steel is just crazy. The guy barely responds to emails and his ability to follow a simple direction is on the level of a 3 1/2 year old.
All in all if I had to do it over again I would just get someone that knew basic welding or above to create these very simple plates.

Or try and talk MStudt into making them.
