Replaced a broken power outlet cover.

What a PITA for such a simple little item.
Took me half the morning to find a junkyard with those pieces in it.
Plus the ECT, defrost, rear window switches and a clock.:becky:
Spares are good, UmKay?

I changed out the original fuel filter with approximately 214,000 miles on it. I didn't notice much of a difference to be honest, but it's good knowing that it's now been done.

I tried to do the same on mine with 221k on it with little success this past weekend. Got one nut off but the other was not budging. Been soaking it in pb blaster since so I can try again soon.

Got the ditch lights mounted and wired up. Ran into a new problem tho. I've been battling corrosion on the positive terminal of my battery, used to much force trying to lose it and the band connecting my positive cable bent and cracked. Car won't start now as its not getting enough current through it. Gotta put a new terminal on tomorrow.

Anyone have any ideas what is causing the corrosion to keep building up? Also, recommendations on a good brand of auxiliary positive terminals? Was hoping to find a block of maybe 6 small terminals/spade connectors that I could run power to instead of having a bunch of individual wires hooked to the battery

What did I do today? Mainly realized how poorly engineered my attempt at a swing out tire carrier was and that I'd wasted several evenings on the endeavor. :(

Back to the drawing board.....

Try and use a flare nut wrench if you can. If that nut strips you're gonna wanna cry...

Went to adjust the ebrake, pivot was frozen, pulled the drums, ended up replacing the pads. Still need to adjust the ebrake.

On the positive side, new rear springs showed up and ordered LC shocks. Once I get done building the engine I'll revisit the suspension.

Your battery could be taking a shit. Or clean the terminals really well and use electrical grease to protect the terminals.

As for 6 terminals, west marine sells cool stuff. You could rig stuff up. Maybe install a aux fuse box.

Blue Sea makes nice busbars.
I use their negative busbar and military terminals on the batteries themselves but my positive leads don't all go to one battery so space isn't an issue yet.

Nothing!! First time since owning I feel happy where she sits and all maintenance is done.

Ohh and jealous as f***. Neighbor pulled this out his trailer other day. Platinum Ecoboost F150 pulling it.

Let's play game. Guess that car!!!!!

I'm usually really good at this game, but this one has me stumped.

Is the winch part cut out ? Like the top ?

No they are not. Only ones i know of are AOR and NWT bumpers that offer open cutout for winches. The AOR is super nice but NWT bumper sticks out like a foot past the front end though.

I see, well my savage sticks out to but the top is cutout.

I guess yours is more because it's not cut out.

Someone posted answer right below my post. Porsche Cayenne gt4

Doh!! Should have kept scrolling. Really sweet ride! Too bad he chose yellow. Bleh! I will never understand how someone chooses yellow over all the colors a car is available in. Yellow belongs on two types of vehicles....school buses and taxis.

Oh definitely. I had to buy one specifically when I did the filter on my 92. I can see that it would strip easily.
Interesting. Haven't heard of this stuff. I'll pick some up and give it a try. Thanks for the heads up [emoji482]

Love that bumper. I was thinking a kit getting the diy kit myself. Did you weld it or have a shop do it for you? If so, how much did it cost?

Well order soon because they are discontinuing them unfortunately and I had my old welding teacher weld it up for me cost around 160 all said and done we did more work than we should have but instructions weren't all that clear.
