What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

It's getting to be a habit...starting to finish up other projects. Installed, with a bit a of hesitation, my Whiteline bushings and the Wheeler bumpstops. Another project done...but wait...there's more....

It was last night that I got this done but it was dark so I wasn't able to get a picture.

I had a local sign shop make a stencil for me to use. I like how it turned out and haven't seen any done like it before.

It's getting a new TB and rear main seal along with new plugs,wires,synthetic oil,thermostat and a new fuel filter.
I had a friend give me his lightly used Volant intake so I'll see if it's makes a diff over the deckplate.

I'm also swapping the starter and alternator since I just installed those in the last 3 years and this past January I did a new radiator and exhaust along with new brake rotors and pads so it's like I've re-bought my truck as a really solid used 4Runner for the roughly $4500 this has cost this year. Still worth it since solid 3rd gens aren't geting more common.

Is the rear main seal back there where the transmission connects to the engine. That is awesome! Low miles for certain

I am trying my best to find some dirt on that engine but am not having any luck. There is a Fram oil filter on there so someone was doing some DIY oil changing.

I'd change out the oil cooler hoses and the oil cooler o-rings. Doing both with the engine in the truck with even the best tools isn't fun.

Today my new to me, picked it up 2 weeks ago, 2000 T4R Limited got a new koyo radiator and denso fuel pump. In the last two weeks I have put new tires on it, programmed in two new fobs, done the antenna whip mod, replaced the rear door lift struts and now the radiator and fuel pump. Few more things coming slower now, but it is turning into a great daily driver. My wife was supposed to get my '04 Tacoma, but now she just wants to drive my runner...might need 2.

i finally addressed my grille today. I'm happy with the way that it turned out and need to figure out what i want to put on it now. Kind of thinking about doing a teq logo.

Mounted my cheapo locking aluminum ATV box so I can clear up some space inside the rig. It's just low enough to clear my Yakima Railgrabs and cross bars.

No height adjustment. They are firm but very comfortable. Their seat belt holder brackets aren't the best, but coming up with a solution shouldn't take much work.
