first post, first mod so far on my 4runner. added a koyo oil cooler and plumb it using 3/8 -6 an fittings and hardline.

Nice choice of head unit. I like that the pioneer ones aren't so flashy and fit in well with the old 4runner interior even though they have modern features.
Speaking of which, doesn't the head unit have a built in voltage gauge?

That's what I like about them too. I like that you can customize the colors to match the factory lights. As for a voltage gauge I'm not sure, but that woulda been handy to know before I bought one. Oh well, at least I have USB charge ports. XD

Replaced the automatic shifter pivot bushings in my 01 Limited. Made the shifter feel like new again!! well worth the $3 in parts and 30 minutes of time!!

Stock halogen suck. I'll adjust them and hopefully they don't blind. If they do the halogen will go back in.

Unfortunately with what you have you will have no way to adjust them as you would a halogen bulb....as the pattern on the door shows. When you install HID/LED bulbs in halogen housings the light wave lengths are different and not controllable just by moving the housing. It would require the housing to be pointed at an extreme as in almost straight down angle. This is the reason most states outlaw such light changes. I agree the stock ones suck...I live it also but its not just about me being able to see on public roads to I live with them.

We will see tonight. The flip off test works the best!!

I also have a lot of rake do to my lift and sagging front coils. I have them pretty much adjusted all the way up.

For $30 it was worth the try if they dont end up working out.

This is the first time I've changed the timing belt... and I've owned the car for almost 100,000 miles... which means that there is a very good chance this is the factory original timing belt. Thing lasted just over 270,000 miles most likely.

I have a different model but I imagine the features are similar. Haven't found the exact colour match and I've just been running the white which I think looks pretty good. The kids always bug me to put on one of the fancy displays with the changing colours. haha.

I need to pull my cover and inspect. Ive put 100k on mine and owner said it was just done when I bought it. But you never know.

Clear Coat repair - Evergreen Pearl - Aerosol Paint

Snagged up some clear coat. Bought some evergreen pearl in a spray can from ebay. The hood is pretty bad, but I'll give it a shot!

Rebooted an OEM cv axle to change the current ripped cv axle. 1 down and 1 more to go this weekend. Not hard to reboot, just messy.

Got it aligned, guy said the adjustment for the caster was cranked all the way and it stayed in a he red, any ideas?
