Passed 260K today on my way home from CO
Replaced the carpet....original stuff was stained all over and FUNKY. Slow, tedious deal to get the new stuff in nice and flat. Put some sound deadener in underneath too. Looks nice and definitely quieter inside now. My tweaked wrist wasn't too happy with the project, but nothing a jack and coke or 3 can't fix.
Wait wait wait — you can't just say that you replaced your carpet and tell everyone it looks nice — without showing us some pics! Pics make everything better, just look how much nicer my post is with just a picture of a dog...
So what brand did you go with? Mass backing or no? And most importantly, what's the exact color code in case it looks good and we want to copy it — or if it looks like shit we'll know what to avoid?
Don't worry though, even if it looks like shit – we'll still tell you it looks perfect
Oh and what kind of sound deadener did you use?
A little bit of this and a little bit of that. lol
How did you reshape the acrylic?Testing out my acrylic fab skills. I've never even played with this stuff before. It's a bit tedious but it formed a lot easier then I was anticipating. I'll paint it black so it blends before the final install.

Oooooooh!! Well done sir! That looks great! You sure busted that out quickly. I am impressed with the overall look and the amount of work that must have taken to get it all put together. It's a lot of little... 10 minute jobs. Hahahahaha.
Weathertech floor mats front and rear. Soooooooo nice. Perfect fit.
Not sure about going for the cargo liner. I will probably cheap out on that and get something else.
I did WeatherTech fronts only. After going through 2 sets of "factory" mats I've got the rear covered, pardon the punWeathertech floor mats front and rear. Soooooooo nice. Perfect fit.

Changed the oil and filter with some Lucas Synth 5W30 and I've been using the extra capacity filters Wix 51516. I now have 268700km on the clock. I also greased all grease nipples in the drive train and the 2 front stabilizer end links.
two things to note:
A small drip of fluid has formed on the drivers side boot on the rackbut the PS fluid level hasn't moved since to last time I checked it... Maybe a rack replacement is in my future.
Also, I noticed a small bubble of grease on the rear-wards facing side of the LBJ boot, on both sides. I replaced the LBJ's about a year ago, and replaced my suspension last Summer/Fall-- about 6mos. between them. I greased all nipples at the same time as the suspension job and saw no grease on the boots. The new suspension provided a 1 to 1.5" lift. I'm just a little sensitive about LBJ's considering the history. Everything seems tight, but should I be worried? anyone else notice this phenomenon?
