Can one of you answer as to why it would be necessary to extend the breathers? Just curious just in case I decide to add a snorkel in the future.

They're not one way valves. You'll get water in your oil if you submerge them.

If you go into water over the diff at all it should have an extended breather, snorkel or no.
Because water and oil don't mix...and water and oil and steel in a churning bundle don't mix well either.

Replaced the battery.
Replaced the stock flasher relay with a LED-compatible EP35.
Replaced the rear turn signal bulbs with switchback LEDs so they'll function as a second set of reverse lights (still have to wire the reverse function).
Finally found my other Philips LED headlight bulb driver so both headlights are now LED.
Replaced the corner light bulbs with Philips 921 LEDs to match the headlights, much brighter than the original "peanut" bulbs.

Recalibrated VSC system per Mike Thomson's blog post on the subject. After the (small) lift my traction control kept kicking on and making annoying springy noises on my brake pedal.
Edit: Didn't work. Did it again. Didn't work again. Only happens in 4wd. Will do forum search for answers.

Why not just install reverse LED bulbs?
Also, can you explain more about what you mean by LED-compatible relay for the flasher? You can't put in LED's in the flasher without replacing the relay first? I'd figure the LED's use a lot less power than conventional.

The low voltage of leds make the computer think you have a burnt out light and as such your blinkers hyper flash. The new relay fixes this issue.

I got mine on sale, but you could expect to pay $1500-1600 with heat and seat bases. They are not power seats, so you would lose that function.
