tried working on draining the motor oil and rear diff tonight. failed miserably. couldn't even get started on the rear. nearly stripped the bolt due to using a 12 point socket. almost seemed like it was made of soft metal. anyways, lesson learned. just gonna chalk it up to experience. i'm going back tomorrow for a rematch. using a 6 point socket this time.

Soak it in PB Blaster for a day, then heat it up nice and hot with a propane torch. Then try an impact gun. If it still doesn't come off I'd drive it to a shop and get them to use their powerful impact guns to crack it loose, then carefully re-tighten without over-tightening to drive back. I wouldn't use a socket / breaker bar now that you've rounded it off, or you may end up having to weld another nut to it to get it off! It can go downhill really quickly.

The 4runner was super pissed it was about to receive Supertech and not the Mobil 1 the engine received.

Seriously though, one has access to a lift and shop access and still can't get the bolts out? Remember, take the drain plug out first.

Just put on new set of Michelin LTX Defenders M/S on the car! What a difference from the 9 year old M/S^2 on there now. less than 750 installed life time balance at costco. what a steal . the tires are probably worth more than the car ! lol

Replaced the fouled downstream o2 sensor with an oem denso.

And then mounted 2 of 4 of my savage offroad skid plates. The other 2 are in the final stages of paint. Will mount them up soon.

Used PB plaster for both nuts and the fill plug came right off. Piece of cake. Drain plug, on the other hand... not so much. I soaked it with more PB and will try again this weekend.

This was at the Pit Row in Santa Clara, CA. It's DIY garage where you can rent their lifts and tools at an hourly rate.

Fill bolt came right off. Drain bolt... not so much.

I was popping OEMs and non OEMs every time I wheeled even with my sway bar relocation brackets. With those moogs I have not broke one yet.
