Azure blue pearl. 1996-98 and you are correct, it is a factory color. Another pic of it below.

It's sometimes mistaken for Horizon blue metallic, a more purplish blue. Those seem even fewer and further between.

Thats curious, perhaps mine is a shade darker because mine is a 99.

You mean on top of the roof? The issue is I will use an OEM rack and even the extra height from the rivnut may cause some issues with flush mounting the rack, an extra washer I think will stick out too far. Unless I can put it on the inside of the roof, maybe I can pull off the upper trim to get it in there?

I'm talking on the inside of the roof. The sheet metal isn't too thick, so I am thinking a 'reinforcement plate' on the inside will help from pulling them out under load - similar to how you would do a cage or seat belt install on a race car. The top side will have whatever you are attaching to hold the weight in the 'downward' direction.

I had a spoiler on my '03 WRX wagon pull out the rivnuts... and that was holding just a little plastic piece (factory installed!). So, they aren't crazy strong unless used correctly.

I'm looking forward to pics. I have some extra factory rails and hardware that I have considered retrofitting to mine... no sunroof means fewer limitations up there.

This past weekend and friend and I welded on a set of Total Chaos cam alignment tabs, my Stubb's welding sliders, and a Toytec panhard drop bracket. Pretty happy with the progress I made, and while the welds aren't the prettiest, they are definitely going to hold up!

Bought it off a family friend who was the original owner and wanted to freshen the car up. Heading off to college this year so I'm giving her a full tune up starting with the interior right now. Gonna clean and wipe down everything pre-wire for all the accessories I could ask for and convert everything to led also have to fix a sealed sunroof. Really just going along and seeing what needs fixed and/or improved, I'm also open to any suggestions

oh ok, cool.

seems like a lot of work to strip the dash, figured you might have some plans laid out for that specifically.

most people 'round here lay a sound barrier down with the interior stripped like that. you might as well do the heater core before you get her all buttoned back up in case it ever goes out.

That. Sound deaden the doors at minimum and the whole truck if you can. I used these products from Amazon and they worked great.

I had enough of the closed cell for my doors and front and rear floors. I needed to order another 18 sq/ft of Butyl to finish off the rear cargo area. It's worth it, especially if you like music.

Good idea. I guess I'll have to figure out how to remove the headliner first. Hope I'm not gonna hafta do this

Rebuilt my supercharger and cleaned up the engine bay. Today I thought long and hard about where I want to mount all the lights I bought.

Funny thing about this list. Every time I cross something off two more things get added. I'm sure eventually that it'll be done.

New OEM PCV Valve and rubber grommet. Of course the old one in there broke apart and fell in while I was trying to gently remove it. I was fortunate to be able to take all the old chunks out with patience and a set of needle nose pliers.
