Thanks so much for the condolences. It's going to be tough. He touched an awful lot of lives and so many people need him right now.Condolences and best wishes to your family and everyone affected by the loss of your friend.
Love how you've got your family pics with you in the truck, that's awesome.
Hey my man, you are so right. Not fast enough. Nothing can prepare you for this and nothing can escalate the healing process.Sorry for the loss Mike. Time heals, but not fast enough.
Your son still enjoying the Legend? Strongarm shocks still working well?
Condolences to you guys and those affected by this loss. Prayers and good vibes out to you all...
I'm sorry to hear about your buddy man. I've been there more times than I care to remember.
I quoted that part of your post because truer words are hard to come by. It's painfully easy to forget that though. So thank you for the reminder.

Received my Cooper AT3 265/75/16s from Discount Tire. Will end up costing me $323 for four tires after the mail-in rebates. Sorry Unner, I really wanted those rims but an ignition switch, two batteries and a water pump for one of my boats said otherwise....
I would post a pic or two but of course Photos%$t has my account by the balls.......

Thanks my virtual climbing bud! Hopefully you went and gave your partner a big hug and have a picture heading up there in your rig with your patch collection. Being in the mountains as much as you and I have, I'm sure you have cheated death on more than one occasion, like me. I still have a few vivid OMG memories.
Thanks again my friends.
That's cheap as shit.
My Michelin tires a few years ago were like ~$900 with Discount (I always sign up with them for rotation/balance/etc).
I replaced the spark plugs, wires, cleaned the mass airflow sensor, throttle body and IAC. Now it's running like a champ.
Next thing on the list, is to track down the wheel shake at 50mph and above.

My u-joints were frozen, couldn't tell from a wiggle test. Had to drop the drive shaft to figure it out.Could be your u-joints in the driveshaft or unbalanced tires. With truck in parked. Go under and try to move around the driveshaft and pay close attention to u-joints.
How did you do compared to your jeep buddy?
You forgot his is exponentially louder than yours at any speed over 30 MPHObviously I'm biased but the 4runner is better in a lot of ways.
1)I have an upgraded suspension, not a body lift. His is just a body lift. This means I have waaay more comfort and flex on the trails. I'll be behind him seeing him go over rocks and he'll literally hit his head on his roof if he doesn't go slow enough.
2)I have air conditioning, he does not
3)I'm thinner, so on tight trails it's easier for me to maneuver around things trees
4)I f*ckin look cooler
Jeep:
1)Has 33" tires while I have baby 32" inch tires
2)Doesn't have carpet so he can just spray that ish out at the end of the day
