Do you remember the size wrenches used to break the nuts that hold the AC lines to the evaporator?

I don’t recall the size, but they are held in by two Allen bolts at the expansion valve and evaporator. Mine were rusty and corroded and took a little PB Blaster to break free. I then cleaned them up with a wire brush before reusing them.

Inside the engine bay I used an adjustable wrench to free the main line. It was larger than my wrench set that goes to 3/4”. The smaller line is held together by a plastic clip. You have to release it with a very small screwdriver. The larger line didn’t give me much trouble but it took me a few minutes to figure out how to pop the plastic clip open.

Pulled front diff and rear axle assemblies out of my 97 with 4.30's and e-locker....pulling the 4.10 assemblies out of my 02 tomorrow.

Not "today" but I finished the wiring cleanup last night and installed it last weekend. Now I just have to finish the winch wiring and mounting. The bolts that came with it were too short and nobody local had any that were the proper threads.

Got a stock spoiler back on and debadged the hatch. Man these things look so much better with the spoiler on.

Saw a delivery confirmation notice for my Rock Auto order for the caliper seal kits for the 'we' calipers that I snagged last week at the recycling center. I got home and picked up the box and instantly knew something was wrong.

Opened the box to find a Bosch fuel pump and an ACDelco fuel filter. It seems that I got someones parts to fix a bad fuel pump in a mid 90's GM product...

I went through the on line process of getting a pre-paid return label to send RA their wrong parts. They won't send me my seals until they see that their stuff has been accepted by the USPS.

I've been using RA for years, it's the first time I've ever gotten wrong parts.

Are you running Android Auto? I use it and I've never had Google Maps communicate anything about speed. That's the only navigation app I've tried though.

I replaced the plastic part my rear seat pull-straps. I used a patch machine at work to stitch the original color-matched webbing to a piece of black webbing I had laying around. Then I just added a fender washer to make sure it wouldn't rip and fray.

Both of the original plastic tabs had gotten so stiff and brittle with age that it was almost impossible to lift the rear seats. Eventually, one of them broke so I decided to replace both.

No, trying the nav app that came on it to see how it works, iGo it's called I think. Map and general functionality seem ok, but can't figure out how to shut off the voice warnings.

Have been having problems with downloading offline maps for Google Maps, but will try in smaller chunks. Goal is to use it offroad, etc where I won't have data access. I loaded Backcountry Navigator on it and also need to down load the Topo maps for that.

Still playing with it and have a lot to set up and learn about the little nuances

Took mine on a 75 mile round trip this morning to catch up with an old friend that I haven't physically seen for 15 years who was in town for a wedding. The 'Runner ran great in the heavy rain, I felt much more secure in it then I would have felt in the Civic.

What I've done today is trying to find new bolts for the rear cam plug seal (I think that is what it's called?)

I know this: they are 10mm heads, and they look like this (pic attached). I can't find a part number. I tried, and I've ordered the wrong bolts twice - and now finding out they've been discontinued or so I'm told.

Does ANYONE know where to find some new bolts for this sucker? I just want to finish this valve cover job and drive this dang thing, lol.

The FSM says to put engine oil on the threads and torque 144 inch lbs (12 ft lbs)

I did my gaskets last weekend and I am glad I did not run into any stripped bolts. Good luck.

drove it to work and removed center console and unsoldered old orange led out of defrost button and resoldered new white led in place.

That thing looks good! I have an 02, chomping at the bit.
Gonna put a lift under an tires.

Upgraded my dash, shifter, and speedo bezels to Limited "wood", and finally finished my built-in voltmeter and outside temp gauge project. Very pleased to see that the ambient temp gauge and the trans temp gauge read the same temp (engine off obviously ), I would have expected them to be off by a few degrees.
