Not today but.. I have tundra big brake upgrade waiting in the garage, along with stainless steel catback. Also on the way is a solid pinion sleeve. Also fixing the rust. Also installed URD short throw shifter.

I did this last summer on the passenger side. Did you get your dog leg from Wolf Steel too? The one I got didn't fit well at all so I had to beat it into submission with a hammer.

Make sure you get all of that rust! You definitely don't want to do the job twice!

Just as good as my RS4 was without the reliability issues. Do miss the V8 exhaust note from the RS though. Nice to have modern tech like smart key and auto rev matching though.

I extended my stock roof rack by adding a little more than half of one I got from the junk yard and cut down. This way it will have much better support up by the windshield for the kayak. It's just barely is wide enough to straddle the sunroof. Some carefully placed M6 rivnuts, being sure not to hit the sunroof hardware underneath. I extended it as far as I could go to where the roof starts to contour down. It's my 1st experience using rivnuts/nutserts and I think it was well worth the $58 for the set of 10 sizes(5 metric/5 SAE). It's basically a pop rivet with threads inside.

You are a far braver person than me, but it looks really good! The factory are really short for kayaks and canoes.

Pre gears and locker prep.

The last trail ride did my air filter in. I ended up with my engine throwing a CEL. My air filter looked ridiculous as well as the mass airflow sensor. The sensor was completely dusted on one side like it was powder coated. I cleaned the sensor up and installed a new air filter. That should take care of the CEL. Oh, and I changed out the gas cap because I had a brand new one laying around that I never installed.

I'm going to drop my rig off at the shop tomorrow to get 4.88 gears and a rear ARB Locker installed. I figured I would take the. Savage skids off and be nice to the diff shop. That and they could use some touching up. I figured I could knock that out while I'm waiting for my rig to get sorted out for a few days.

I also noticed that my front sway bar bushings are absolutely destroyed and need replacing. I could probably use a lot of bushing replacement to be honest. I'll take a little closer look tomorrow.

dropped it off to have the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, crank seal and cam seals all replaced.

Imgur isn't uploading any pictures so I have to attach it. dont know how to make it smaller, sorry.

cracks everywhere. no idea if it was ever replaced, or when it was replaced last. plus the crank and cam seals were leaking slightly. ill be happy to have peace of mind on this for many miles more.

Make sure you get one with steel rivets. Mine is very similar to this one, the kit came with 10 rivets in each thread size.
I just butted the two ends together, I might put a little black silicone to fill the seam but it doesn't bother me how it looks right now.......yet. LOL

Changed out the steering wheel on my 97 with one from a 99, so much more comfortable. Then I drove it around on my brothers ranch.
