Where do I even start?..

I just bought new Power steering return and pressure lines, new radiator, new power steering pump, fan clutch, Rotors, Brake calipers (16inch)(left and right) new brake pads, Sway bar bushings, Sway bar end links (front and rear), rear shocks, front struts, tie rods all around, valve cover gaskets, and rear coils. Brand new Gen3 owner... previous owner left me with a bad taste. couldn't see the problems as they were covered up by his actions. Hope that this thing is as reliable as you guys say... Are these transmissions sealed? 238K 99 sr5

Here's an upgrade that I'm willing to bet isn't in the almost 30k posts in this thread........ant traps. Yep, effing ant traps. My runner was full of friggin ants today...they were everywhere...the seats, the dash, the carpet, THE RADIO.

Apparently ants in cars is a thing here in the marina parking lot! SMH

FIXED the darn change holder under the E-brake after finding over 9.00 under the pass seat. If I was able to load a pic I could. All I can say is it works. Super simple for a bad design. Next will be the crappy spot with a down angle on console in front of 4wd to left of ashtray. Who ever designed this was having a bad day also.

No, they're not.

Was SUPPOSED to get my tires mounted today, but the PC shop is behind. Next week maybe. Mean time, picked up a TRD center cap. Hope it fits the Tundra wheel.

Did they put on a smaller size rotor or is that normal ?

Wrong size rotor or even pad. How has your braking been? Stick the left foot out the door sometimes?

What did you do to your 3rd gen today?

Gave my poor rig a Gansta lean. Evasive move when traffic stopped in front of me on the fwy. Needed about 5 more feet of lateral room to my left....had it on two wheels and smacked the center divider with the front wheel and scrubbed it hard with the slider and rear wheel.

This one was on driver front...

Dunno if I just bent up some suspension pieces or fully tweaked the frame. It was a pretty solid hit at an angle

Yea no injuries and no accident report. So I just gotta fix my bent up rig. Eh, broken parts are one of my favorite excuses for upgrading stuff.
Hoping it’s just a swap out deal, not bent frame level stuff. If thats the case I’ll find a manual to swap all my stuff into. Or maaaaybe a taco?

Sorry, but what is the Casting you are talking about ?
They just look way undersized. I measured the rotors and ordered a new set of rotors & pads and the found this.....

Braking is a bit spongy and pulls to the left under hard braking, even after bleeding so I sprayed the rotors with brake cleaner in case there was oil or something but no change so I ordered new pads and rotors. Wear on both sides is even. I measured the rotor as there are 2 sizes 297 and 319mm and mine were 297 so That's what I ordered....I guess they were supposed to be 319mm. It appears there is plenty of room to fit the bigger rotor and the pads are for the bigger rotor:wtf:

If it was me I would go to the local chain auto parts store and buy one of the bigger rotors and just install it to see if the rotor size is my problem to start with. Return it if it isn't.

I wouldn't drive a mile away from my house with such little pad contact.

Lower frickin' ball joints and sway bar links. 180k miles and the joints were
just beginning to get a little loose. No bueno.

'02 FSM says 37 lb-ft on the 4 bolts vs. 59 shown in Tim's video for an '00.
I went with 37.
