What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

1st clip. Probably should have gone second clip, but not interested in taking it all apart again at the moment.

I'll bet the first clip gives a really nice ride, though. Second clip would compress the springs a bit more and make the ride a bit rougher, if I understand correctly.

Also, if I'm understanding all of the threads I've been reading, the TRD front springs and the OME 881's are pretty comparable. I know that the TRD springs are a progressive spring rate, but I'm finding that there are so many more (and cheaper) options for kits if one were to go with the OME springs in the front. So, what made you choose the TRD front springs over a cheaper or easier OME option?

Changed my steering rack bushings and got an alignment. It fixed my drift and tightened up the steering a bit, but I still have some play in the wheel. It's definitely the steering column and some tack welds will do the trick. It's very little so I don't know if it's worth it yet.

Just finished rebuilding and upgrading a cs144 alternator. Bumped it up to 200 amps, now just need to have it tested to make sure I didn't mess anything up. Was actually really easy, just unbolt and reinstall and 2 joints needed to be soldered. The rotor was shot so I scored a NOS rotor that was the early style but just a quick swap of rear bearings and it's all good.

Just finished up on the durobumps front diff bushings and a SS diff drop. Even cutting and pounding the skids like it says in the instructions, the skid hits the front diff mounts lol. Sooooooo I guess in going aftermarket skids next. I have hit the stock ones a few to many times I guess lol.

Integrated metalworks in Renton installed 4xinnovations weld on sliders and eimkeith panhard correction kit this weekend.

Read that the 881s are a hair stiffer, wanted to go for more comfort. The springs I got were about $220 each. Sure you might save a couple hundred bucks, but I justify it by saying that's just 4 tanks of gas.

About 3 months back I swapped out the front coils and had a clunking ever since, which seemed to happen at lower speeds on uneven road; mainly when the COG/weight of the vehicle would shift from front to back. I went back in and tightened everything up 2 or 3 times since trying to diagnose it but never could. Well yesterday I tried once more, gave everything I could an extra hard tug, and just like that it rides quiet as a mouse
So damn happy, been driving me nuts recently

Took off the Limited cladding in preparation for paint (of the cladding, not the body). Ordered a bunch of replacement mounting pads, tapes, rivets, clips, etc. to the tune of $150. It'll be a drop in the bucket compared to the paint job cost
