Put Eibach Pro Truck Sport shocks in all 4 corners, Tire Rack had a deal I couldn't pass up.

I run these as well. Got mine back in 2018 from Wheeler's Offroad. I love them!

Back then, I couldnt find another 3rd Gen person with them. haha

I've since swapped the Eibach rear springs for OME 906's and it's perfect!

Boring but 'Today'

At lunch I hit those 3 little screws on the fog lamp housing with PB and they came right out after work. I don't really remember to use fog lights but it bugged me that only 1 worked, so I tossed in a pair of Hella Xtreme Yellows that were about $13 a pair. Anyone who's done this will wonder why Toyota over-engineered that bulb retainer/spring clip! What a little PITA! Anyway, no rust under the truck makes things easy, so I can't really complain. Is the "WD40 Frame treatment" just what it sounds like?

Sway bar parts

Put on ES bushings and new end links. Also put on a new tranny pan the other day because I stripped the plug.

Felt a surprising amount of difference in body roll. Feels less like a boat in turns now.

I took the running boards off yesterday. It looks MUCH better and the extra clearance is great. Also, the power antenna motor was no bueno, so I disconnected it under the front passenger side fender lining. No more ugly noise when I start the truck!

Received my 99 Acdelco springs and KYB shocks today. Was thinking about installing them this three day weekend, but it's going to to be way to hot. Maybe a week or two.

Installed my OME bilstein shocks and springs. And replaced all sway bar bushings and end link bushings.

Just need an alignment and she is back to work.

1. Re-installed skid plates after drilling out and tapping 2 of 3 broken bolts on the radiator support.

2. Removed Stock Limited Running Boards. - Free Lift!

3. Trimmed the rear mudguards to keep them from dragging and getting ripped off on trails.

anybody know where to get some replacement weatherstripping that follows the roof along the doors? Just realized I'm missing it from the passenger side and only have the door seals! Probably why I get excessive wind noise on that side :dammit:

Finally replaced the upper ball joints that I purchased from camelback 5 1/2 years ago! Now the ABS is kicking in at slow speeds when coming to a stop. I'm thinking it's the driver side speed sensor that was pretty much rusted to the hub and required lot of twisting and pulling to remove. Hopefully a better cleanup and better seating into the hub will fix it.

Also did driver side cv axle and front passenger side differential oil seal due to a previous cv axle change 4 years ago.

I found this mess on Friday morning, the beginning of a long overdue 4 day weekend. I knew that I had a small hole in the back of the muffler just 2 months ago, I have no idea when it got this bad or when the tail pipe snapped off. I never heard a rattle, just a little more exhaust noise.

When I took off the remainder of the muffler, I found out how bad this has gotten over the past 4 months. Time to do something about it. I'll update my build thread w/ details.
