If I remember right there's been at least 2 others on here with that issue. Dirtco and 1 other that I can't remember their name.

Thank you, that figures. I contacted the vendor who said he "never heard of this before". I'm guessing if someone asks him again in a year, he'll say the same thing. Some vendors don't seem to care too much about fixing flaws in their products, which annoys me to no end .

I did my rear view mirror installation . Self dimming and with a compass. Very happy with it

Thank you - they are Hella fog lights (Amazon.com: HELLA 008284801 FF75 Series Clear 12V/55W H7 Halogen Fog Lamp Kit: Automotive), which I upgraded to H1 HID bulbs. Bright as heck. I reinstalled them on the Addicted bumper:

Hi there. I did NOT use OEM parts. I don't get kicked out of the club do I? I used Brembo drums and Centric shoes and hardware. The wheel cylinders were from A/C Delco. It all went together perfectly and functions just fine. I have not done a road test yet as I am installing a lift at the moment. If you would like part #'s on what I did use let me know.
Here is a shot of my wheel well before and after the rehab. Still need to use some undercoating, I like the Duplicolor brand, on the underside of the well. I have cleaned it, just waiting on the product to show up.
I got my Bilsteins and OME 906's in today!! Went from this....

To this....

Sway bar is yet to go back in. Treated it with rust pro today and waiting on some links to show up so I can install it. Next up is the front end. Have the Bilstein 5100's and some OME 2880's. I also put on my new 32" BFG K02 on a Taco snowflake to see what it looks like in the wheel well....sexy!!

That looks awesome! I want to add one but I think my swingout will block the mirror's view so it will be useless. Do you have a pic from inside of what you can see through the mirror?

Thanks! Yeah it’s surprisingly useful. My swing out spare tire will be on the passenger side. Pics with mirror deployed below!

Did my rear shock on 2002 toyota 4runner 2wd drive.. Talk about tight fits and inaccessible nuts.. But i got it done.. One side came off easy, other side was tuff and had to cut it off.. Thanks to shorty sawzall with diablo steel demon blades.
New ones went in good, had to double nut it, guessing for keeping 1st nut in place.

Was in the same boat last month; ended up taking a sawzall to the rear shocks just to make life bearable. HORRIBLE mounting location up top, practically zero room to work.

Still dry!

Checked ABS cavities today while rotating tires. The anticipation was horrible, but All good! Still dry at 42,000 km.

Cleaned my air filter today while getting the 4Runner ready for winter storage. Oem was clean as a whistle thanks to this brilliant idea [MENTION=148218]JZiggy[/MENTION] came up with.

This is with about 10,000km. I just popped the spare in.

and stared at my 3rd gen sitting on jacks. I actually just received my bearing puller from that guy on Ebay and will start pulling either this weekend or the next. Pretty excited to get that done as well as rebuild the drums and do lower ball joints. yayyyyyyy

This one is for all the haters of running boards.

I’m going against the grain. I just installed a new set. Not the stockers, these are homemade.

I’ll admit that it looks better without, but we drive a lot of gravel roads. I’d have no paint left on the rockers or lower doors without them, so they stay on. And they are a lot more tucked than the originals so look a little better.

This is version 2. V1 went on shortly before a trip to Mexico years back and they worked well enough that they stayed on all this time.

I continued work on my rear end. Got all done today. Here is the list.
New OME 2" lift springs
New Bilstein 5100's
New brake drums, shoes, hardware, wheel cylinders and bell cranks.
New longer rear sway bar links.
New urethane sway bar and end link bushings.
Wire wheeled away a ton of rust from various components and applied rust proofing.
Applied a new layer of undercoat to wheel wells. I like the Duplicolor brand, not to chunky.
I clear coated the brake drums for no rust.
Put on my new 32" BFG K02's on Taco snowflakes on the rear.
Lowered her down and torqued EVERYTHING to spec.
I am super pleased with how the rear end turned out. I am still 1 bolt away from having that darn rusted hitch out. Tackling the rust 1 quarter area at a time. Going to hold out on a picture of the the whole truck till the front is done.

Got started on the front with the Tundra brake upgrade.:director:

Still have a lot of rust up there to deal with. Got the sway bar out and rustproofed so far.

All 4 brakes, calipers & master cylinder replaced. Everything bled.
ABS pump isn't priming. Starting to think about calling the stealership.
