Installed a Redline Goods shift boot and Core Shifters shift knobs. Now I just gotta relocate the 4wd button to the dash. Does anyone sell OEM style push buttons for our vehicles? Only ones I’ve been able to find are the smaller ones for newer Toyotas.

Oh, fascinating - what does the rear mounting surface look like on these?
It comes with a windshield mount and metal plate that you attach to the gauge making it a magnetic mount. Pretty slick really.

He was asking because he makes these:
Ultragauge, Scangauge, and 2-1/16" Gauge Mounts
and was curious if the backs looked any different than the prior units. Is it dead flat?

The Scangauge site says the version III supports automatic ISO X-Gauge configuration. Does that mean it will find Transmission temp automatically/without programming?

Upgraded back hatch with StrongArm 6815s. Man, I wish installing them by myself was 1/2 as easy as installing anything from Spiker Engineering!

I use a 2x4 to hold the rear hatch up when installing those struts
FWIW, I only installed 1 HD StrongArm strut and 1 standard. Works great and I don't have to muscle it closed.

I (didn't) needed something to do....
I'd already added a tall center console to the '96 some time ago, but found one that was a better color match at the junkyard so pulled it and- on a whim- grabbed the rear heater assembly to mess around with too. The lines in the newer 3rd gens appear to be made out of aluminum, or Spiker says possibly stainless steel, either way not the rust-o-matic steel as the earlier ones were. The tees are steel, will have to keep an eye on them.
Assembly and hard lines are in, have some of the hoses, waiting on 8mm coolant line to finish the plumbing. I'd already bought the heater control valve as a maintenance item awhile ago.

hi all - happy father's day to all the dads and my own father's day treat for my Nashely = Stealth Custom Series wheel upgrade (4 years wait after dirt duster inspiration) , a grill mod and hood repaint - once washed will post Glamour Shots.
Oh yeah - pulled cowl, hit it with SEM black satin paint - makes it pop!
