I'm needing to do both here soon myself. Good account overdue on the rotation too. At least I have an impact now so I have way less excuses. Might just do that tonight actually.

5 new pizza cutter size KM3 installed yesterday. 255/85/16 KM3's, going on in place of the old mostly worn out and somewhat aged out (very slippery on wet pavement at this point) 285/75/16 KO2's.
They look a bit skinnier than I would have thought, 30mm should only be a inch and a quarter, looks a lot narrower IRL. Not bad though.
Skinner, a little taller, apparently per the specs about the same weight. They have a lot deeper tread than KO2's, and very chunky tread blocks.

Dude, I went to a friend's house and he's got impacts. I swear those things are amazing and I cannot wait for the day until I own some myself. They made the tire rotation THAT much easier and less time consuming. I absolutely love them.

IamNegan, Sorry for the late reply.
Pulling the radiator out and reinstalling a new one didn't take very long. Maybe an hour total. Figuring out where and how to mount the cooler took a little longer. I spent at least 4 hours cutting and bending the brackets to mount the cooler and relocate the driver side horn. I was not in any hurry. Like OctaneJunky said, the grill clips are easy when they are new and not old and brittle. The coolant flush is what took the longest. Two gallons of distilled water ran until the thermostat was open for about 10 minutes. let the engine cool down for a while. Then drain and repeat for a total of 6 gallons. Then filled up with Toyota red.
I was going the insert a couple pictures but I don't know how. I have amazon photos but no offsite photo storage.

I installed the Hayden 679 cooler. It's the same unit I installed in the my 98 Isuzu trooper, and it lowered my temps by 10 to 15 degrees. I also ordered the bracket set for $6.99 and 6 feet of additional 3/8" hose locally.

need help my drivers seat just broke
the seat back just decided I want to lay down while driving any guesses on what seats will bolt in and weather this one is fixable? the cushions are actually great but has had covers on them since day one and am second owner so interior has been taken good care of:Cry:

If you’re looking for a bolt in solution the only 100% bolt in seat is from a 3rd gen 4Runner.

On Sunday I removed the factory exhaust and installed the MagnaFlow overland series cat-back exhaust... and I hate it.
I knew when I bought it that it was designed for the 3.4 V6s, but I figured it would work on my 2.7 4-banger no problem, since it included the piping options for 1 or 2 cats. Well, the tuning is definitely not for a 4 cylinder; it sounds like a cheap ricer now. Living in Tokyo in a land full of ricers I suppose I fit in, but it was NOT what I was going for.
The main reason I went for this one over others was specifically for the side exhaust (the factory was straight out the back, and would circulate exhaust into the cab with the rear window down), but it doesn't even fully meet that intent.
Now I need to try and find something that has a side exhaust, that will ship to Japan, and not too expensive. Oh well, can't have everything go right the first time...

Can’t you get an exhaust shop to change your OEM exhaust to side exit?
I’ve been a pretty active member here for years and just now accidentally discovered that clicking the red down arrow next to a thread takes me directly to the first unread comment. Sharing this to hopefully save the next poor soul from seconds and extra clicks that accumulate over time. I feel so dumb for not clicking it before now lol
Possibly, though I hadn't considered that. The language barrier is something I really struggle with over here. In any case, it's too late now, the OEM is cut up and recycled at this point.
Oh man! That really sucks!
Got my wheels and tires mounted today, bumper is getting powder coated.
