Well yesterday I tested out the CAD fridge template. The smaller size fits perfectly. The larger one was just to tall to get the lid open and get it in the proper location to give me the max sleeping space. It is a 37qt fridge. And on the floor under the fridge there is enough space to fit the power bank.
Today I placed the order for the fridge,I have a onx elite subscription and got a great discount on it too! It's an iceco vl35pros in olive color. It will fit my needs, since I'm solo 99% of the time. Be efficient enough as well. I'll have a 200w solar panel on the roof to charge the power bank.

Bought a high mileage Gem
Got a high mileage 99 4RUNNER Limited, on Bring A Trailer auction site, this week. 229K Down sized from a 2014 Sequoia that I paid 22.000 for five years ago. Sold Sequoia outright to a local dealer for 18,500. My insurance went down $500 buck a year. New to me 4RUNNER is way overdue for a Timing belt change but still runs strong. Look forward to learning a lot about my new toy on this forum. Thanks in advance.

Got the iceco fridge a few days ago and have been testing it out at home. Had to let it sit for 24hrs to let the fluids in the pump settle (thanks FedEx for leaving it upside down and in the driveway when it was raining). Works fantastic! Cold fast, pump is very quiet. Got to 19° in about 30 mins. And has been running at 32 for a few days now. Sweet.
Also started on the fan control module box. Did some cutting and epoxy of a 6 position pcb connector. So now it's waterproof. Just have to solder the wires onto the connector and fit them up to the pwm controller. Also got the fan ordered. Camaro 2016 ss fan. Almost got a spal aftermarket, but forgot it runs off a different controller. I'll start another massive thread when I start this thing.

Nothing fun today. Just a crawl underneath to see she has 2 cats. Stealer ran the VIN and gave me the non-Cali O2 sensor numbers. The placard under the hood says both EPA and Cali. I'm very perplexed.
Does anyone know if there are differences in the sensors... besides cable lengths?

Already answered in the other thread.
Cali and Fed front sensors are different - wideband AFR vs. narroband. They are not interchangeable.
If you have to cats and it mentions "Cali" anywhere on the sticker, you definitely have CA emissions. CA emissions always meet EPA/Fed specs, but not the other way around.

Yeah, I hadn't yet seen your first response before I posted here. And full disclosure... I had an ulterior motive... to get my reply count up enough to create my own thread on this specific subject, while hoping to get some answers at the same time. It seems pretty crazy to me that the stealer would give their many decades-long customer the wrong parts after running the VIN.

Mistakes happen. Its not like the person behind the counter is guaranteed to put in the right information, or read out the right part of the information that their computer puts out... Like, try to get correct information from Google's AI results right now...

Yeah, I rarely trust a single internet source. Perhaps if a source has proven itself over the years... maybe.
Definitely a wake-up call. I imagine the accuracy of the Toyota data system is greater when dealing with newer rigs.
Forgot to mention... many stated that the Cali designation would be in the door jam. It wasn't.
It took further investigation here to find that you can't trust the jam for emissions. But the hood placard is said to be virtually 100%. And had I not done the research, I wouldn't have even known that 2 cats denotes Cali. That's what led me to crawl under and take a peek.
Without all of this, I could have easily just gone what the stealer recommended. It's a big country. I imagine others have done just that.

Yeah. I be plenty of people bought the cheaper option (O2) when the saw the price of the CA-emissions AFR sensor too. I semi-recently replaced both front and rear sensors (on my CA-emissions rig) with new Denso parts from RockAuto. Still have a bit of a P0420 issue... but it is getting better.

Got the addco rear sway bar yesterday. Thanks FedEx for leaving it in front of the garage again in the rain. Thank God it was just a sway bar. Looks sweet. I'm using the front end links on the rear and no front bar. I've been driving with the stock rear bar, and I have mixed feelings on how it handles. Body rolls like mad.
Going to have to diy some turnbuckle/heim rear links. Using a button head bolt on the swaybar to give me more clerance between the lower link. The stock ball joint end link hits the lower link.

I guess just be happy some scumbag didn't run off with it just for giggles...
Looking forward to seeing the links. Letting old front links clunk around out back is getting annoying. The stud is the wrong size for the OEM bushings.
I'm wanting to use my DIY sonoran set of axle-side lift brackets, but I don't like the angle the links sit at (I think Jziggy bent his to fit?)
I've been contemplating relocating the frame-side mount up/foward to match. I don't know the leverage math, but does that seem reasonable to do?

Shoot. I wish I'da' seen this before I ordered from Amazon. Even with shipping, RockAuto's price is about a buck lower. And... I'm guessing... less concern about a counterfeit.
There's a good chance this rig may end up in Cali when my daughter goes to College, so I definitely want the AFR. But do you think the non-Cali O2 sensor would deliver the same performance, i.e. same mileage?

True glad someone didn't run off with it. Have had that happen more times then I care to admit. And FedEx being the worst offenders too.
I too have the axle side sway bar lift brackets. I can say for sure the addco swaybar will not fit a e-locker 3rd member without the lift brackets. If it was a inch lower it would smash the elocker motor. Addco didn't copy the stock bar bends at all. It did come with felt fuzz lined bushings. So no lube needed, which is cool. I used the front links at first. But they put the swaybar 1 inch away from the lower links, which I'm sure would smack the lower links badly, flexed out. So I put the rear end links back in and it has more clerance, but they are now at wierd angles. It's like they should have made the sway bar narrower and put the end link mounts on the inside of the frame. Either way, I see bad contact in my future. Just not feeling to hot today, otherwise I'd pull the springs and check for issues under flex.

if your daughter si going to school in cali, but you live elsewhere, cant you keep the car registered in your state and not worry about the cali laws. Years ago my brother in law went to school in cali for 2 years and did not remove his oregon plates
Dont know how it works in your area, but here i see all kind of different state plates from either school kids or service members
