Are those the Tacoma or 4Runner TRE/LBJs?
Either way, could you PM me where you got them, a price if you're comfortable with that, and part numbers? I need to get those ordered...
Sunday I replaced my V-LED license plate bulbs with Sylvania filaments (One of my leds was acting up... would cut in and out)... Lasted an hour before I ordered more V-LEDS. Threw those in when I got home. My wife was nice and left the lights and a screw driver by the garage door opener so I would see them.
These LED's are on sale for like $7 IIRC. Much better price than my old ones (they were like $22 I think...) and nearly as bright.
An example of how bright the old ones were: When my driver side bulb cut out the first time, I noticed it in my side view mirror.
The new ones I can hardly see in the mirror, but they do look very good. The picture does not do them justice.
I also put the same LEDs in my wifes tC... Had I not cropped the image, you would be able to see a line of light on the ground. These are bright, and look very sharp.

This past weekend I:
- Drained the diff fluid, and filled with Amsoil Synthetic SVG.
- Pulled the tranny pan and drained all of the fluid in there. Put in a new tranny filter, then "flushed" all of the old fluid out and put in Amsoil synthetic ATF.
- Drained all of the old radiator fluid. Pulled the thermostat to get the rest of the fluid out, and also replaced with a new thermostat and gasket. Refilled with Toyota red coolant/distilled water.
- New radiator hoses as well.
- Pulled throttle body and IAC. Cleaned both thoroughly. Replaced both TB and IAC gaskets with new.
- All new belts (3).
- Replaced the front and rear sway bar bushings, as well as the steering rack bushings using Wheelers polyurethane kits.
- Replaced steering rack guide with new 04' Tacoma design.
It was quite the weekend...and wore me out too. haha.

They are Tacoma LBJ and OTRE's 284.44 shipped to my door from Toyotapartsales.com Basically Toyota of Dallas. if you are a TLCA member I think you could get them even cheaper.

Nothing surprising as finding a bird stock in the skiplates^ but I did clean the truck today after 3weeks of being covered in mud!
It was a Red Cardinal and I could only tell because it had two feathers still on it that weren't discolored. The rest had decayed, so lesson learned is pull the skid plates and check for goodies.

Mounted a fire extinguisher, which A LOT more people should do but don't. Especially when you consider all the wiring, cutting and grinding some of us do. 0.02

replaced inner tie rods, they were a *****!! they were so nasty. like bad bad bad. ended up breaking tools with one lower ball joint. turns out you can replace the inners and not take off the lower balls.

I need to do this. Always good to have one with you. Might have to look into it this weekend before wheeling on Sunday. How exactly is it secured?

This is the one I bought from Autozone, it was $26 and some change. It's drilled in with short screws so it doesn't go through the wheel well.

No, mine go past and hook into the body. Just not deep enough to poke into the wheel well.
