New rear wiper and an hour long drive avoiding retards in 4" of snow.

I dried out one of my headlights. I pulled the high beam bulb and wedged a computer fan between the washer fluid fill tube and some sheet metal pointing at the hole. Then I pulled the turn signal bulb so air could flow through. It dried in a couple hours. I might need to re-seal it or just avoid automatic car washes. For now I'll wait and see if it gets water in it again.

I rebuilt my rear brake calipers this weekend as well. Super easy. I got the kit from Toyota, comes with everything for the caliper and bracket. $28. I have now rebuilt my front and rears for under $50. I was wondering why I don't see others rebuilding them, only swapping them out for rebuilt ones from Centric or Powerstop. I figure even if I rebuilt them every 2-3 years, or once every brake job they should be fine. Better than paying $90 per caliper.

Completely agree, the OEM kit is perfect and rebuilding calipers is chill and you can actually feel the difference and know it's a quality rebuilt OEM caliper instead of a reman or others with unknown parts. Plus when you have them all broken down and all cleaned up you can paint them or touch them up if already painted.

Best part I Have never had a stuck/seized up piston ever since I started rebuilding my own calipers years ago. So I don't know how much I have saved in not buying calipers over and over like many others I see and hear about.

It's called Dog Party. I'm hoping to have my new shocks, coils and lights in, the exhaust will be done and hopefully the damn cel will turn off so I have my traction control and ATRAC on. You have no idea how hard it is to bomb through deep snow with open difs and no ATRAC!

Yeah he always has a great time when we're out off road and camping. I need to find the name of the road we were on and finish editing this video. Had a couple hairy spots and lots of sand. Think the Tacoma that was with me stayed in 2wd the whole time for the most part. I was in 4hi center locked to turn off VSC so I could bomb through the sand. Really need to do that VSC off mod.

Were you out by Pinkham trail area, pinto basin road,cactus garden, Berdoo Rd, the pinto wye, etc maybe help jog your memory.
Where did you camp at jumbo rock campground, basin campground etc or just picked a spot on the out skirts ..

Where did you camp at jumbo rock campground, basin campground etc or just picked a spot on the out skirts ..

We up off the north end, quail road and onaga, camped off Jericho road or something like that on the outskirts. Just need to look at the maps and I should be able to figure it out.

Necessary items at this point. All broke and wore out. Using tax returns! Lol putting over 3k into my truck this week. Loving every second of it too!

I'm still waiting for my 07 sr5 to get the 4x4 repaired at the dealer. Luckily it was under warranty from the dealership I bought it from, they sent it to Toyota dealer to figure out why it wont engage and all the 4x4 lights stay on.

Same thing happened when we bought our '07 Sport in late 2014. Fortunately, we caught it before delivery so they fixed it. Glad for you that you had a warranty 'cause if it's the actuator, that can be a $2K repair.

Toyota recommends monthly "exercise" so to speak for the 4WD system to keep everything working properly. One of our members kindly posts a reminder so you might watch for the "Use It or Lose It" thread. IIRC that thread also describes why it's necessary so it's worth finding & reading. Good luck & let us know what happens.

Here's the area where I was at. We followed the dirt road that heads east and then it looped back around, doesn't look like it has a name though.

Picked up a set of 275/65/18 Duratracs and ordered my new suspension from Toytec this morning. I went with the Bilstein 5100s all around paired with OME 885 coils in the front and Toytec Superflex Coils in the rear.
