Tried to make a video capturing the sound, had to record a while the car started doing it around 40 seconds into this video. Rod Knock? its very inconsistent and will increase with rev but mostly goes away unless idle.

well, did some more clean up on the truck....i feel like an idiot, but the underside was disgusting. got a little deeper after purchase on monday, and the rear end has icon shocks. front has bilsteins. need to get it on a lift this weekend to figure out how extensive the PO got with suspension.

installed new window visors, these are from WellVisors. seem to be good, i like that they use stick on and clip for install. also i bought these since the weathertech i had was good until they fell out while i was driving. luckly i picked back up since it was 4 am so no cars on local street.
seems like these visor are close to the ones you get from japan. so [MENTION=50507]CookieRoe[/MENTION] , is my visors JDM style lol
the new visors install is simple, just like the video, all you do is clean it first, then insert clips in correct area, undo the 3m sticky and take your time to stick the visors on. then once done install the clips hardware. so far with my audo windows dei 530t , when i crack the window open, it stops at the perfect area just like the weathertech.
theres the video they did and its the same for install.

They look great! Been looking for something like these for some time. Where did you buy them? I did see them on eBay for $50.

Replaced my 5100/885 combo with icon 2.5 coil overs. Holy hell what a difference. Gained 3/4" of lift on both sides, nose dive on braking is almost all but gone, and the body roll is a hell of a lot better too. I'm about a 1/4" low on the passenger side so I need to crank it up, buy other wise I'm super happy.

You really do. I was pretty happy with the 885s, but man im ecstatic with the icons. I already had the 2.0s in the rear and the front/rear match is phenomenal on road. I'll be in dirt Thursday to really see how they feel.

Hahahah. Yeah, the Tacoma suspension is 10 years old and it's due for something newer. Going to see if I can get the new leaf pack from the recall and that's likely to bump my rear up so I'll need something in the front to level it out.

Had a busy saturday with house stuff but did find time to do oil change and oil filter change. I also switched the drain plug to a Fumoto Drain Valve. Should make these much easier!

Tomorrow I will be tackling the coilover lower bushings and then moving on to my UCA bushings if I have time.
